took about 3 hours in a steady downpour while one of us carried a baby on back. very well marked but also very treacherous when you get to the mountain. saw some of the feral goats.

Nice walk and views. Well marked out. Boots essential.

Very easy hike accessible to everyone, young and old. Very surprising by the landscapes. Small church well hidden but indicated so no worries.

Love this walk which is called The Lough Avalla Loop and which is near Mullagh Mor as well. The Loop is on a running farm where the owner has kindly given the public access to his land. The walk has everything, from a Green Road, a Well, stream and a lake, green fields and hazel woods. naturally there are farm animals as well. There are cairns and a mass rock too. At the end of the walk visit the coffee shop which is lovely. This walk is suitable for young children as well and it has great views across to Mullagh Mor and Co. Clare

Only recommend for hiking and views. Definitely not a trail run. You can park further up the road instead of hiking the road. Very rocky. Wear hiking boots or very sturdy trail shoes.

Wonderful walk over eerie landscape. Very cool. Encountered a bit of rain, but also a perfect rainbow. Wet rocks were a bit treacherous, however - glad we had good boots and a walking stick, and even then we had to take it slow. Trail was marked clearly, but had to pay careful attention as there wasn’t always a “beaten path” over the rocks. Might be pretty challenging in dense fog.

Very easy walk suitable for all the family. There is a hermatige with a well, cave and old church hidden away in a magical setting surrounded by trees.

A popular walk, great views.

Terrific walk, starting off low through woodlands and gradually climbing to beautiful views before walking back down towards the lake past some Belted Galloway cattle and goats. Well maintained with nice touches such as walking sticks and cups at the well.

Nice flat forest trail. Did a 6.5km loop, in an 75 mins. Brisk walk. nice lake views in parts but for the most part a forest trail. It's all about the sounds rather then scenery. enjoyable evening or morning walk.

Great hike with beautiful views of the rock formations at the heart of the Burren. Trail is well maintained and marked but good boots/shoes are a must. Basically no sun cover, and there are no restroom facilities. We parked at the designated lot and walked in, which adds 2ish miles to the trail length, but others were parking along the road further into the park. There were no signs indicating that wasn't allowed, but I might have missed them.

Great trail with an amazing view of the Burren from up high. It took just under 3 hours due to the rocky conditions and the climb was easy. Would recommend to bring hiking footwear and food.

Amazing scenery. Parking is limited.

Lovely walk across the limestone shelf. Great views, and the little church and well (signposted about half way round) are just beautiful. Highly recommend visiting the Burren Perfumery nearby too. A great day!

Unearthly. A grand auld stretch of the legs, nothing too strenuous, though boots are essential.
