Very nice hike on the mythical cliffs of Moher. Made with a splendid weather. The first part of the hike is very easy. However be very careful, two passages are one step from the cliff and in case of strong gusts it seems very dangerous. However you have an alternative road that sinks a little more in the lands avoiding its two passages. The hike has some climbs, but nothing insurmountable. You arrive on the tower that overlooks the cliffs and is very touristy. TIP: if time permits, the sunset is just dazzling.

Nice flat forest trail. Did a 6.5km loop, in an 75 mins. Brisk walk. nice lake views in parts but for the most part a forest trail. It's all about the sounds rather then scenery. enjoyable evening or morning walk.

Great variety of landscape and canal section has interesting industrial archeology. Unfortunately many info boards have been vandalized. On leaving Clonara turn right thro gate to walk along hydro spillway embankment if going on loop clockwise.

Depending upon direction of travel this can be a climb in places but worth it for the sublime views. Ever changing countryside and forestry, very enjoyable. Excellent parking and toilets.

Well worth doing. Beautiful views and an easy walk. Picnic area at start/finish.

beautiful hike. Definitely follow Kevin's instructions below regarding parking. takes about 2hours.

WICKED AWESOME TRAIL!! Right along the Cliffs of Moher. Be careful as parts of the trail are a bit unstable. Nothing else like it.

Views were nice, however, we had to turn back halfway, as there was no way forward.

Very easy walk, live locally so do this regularly. plenty of bird life along the way, suitable for children also.

Just finished walk in 2 hours. Parked outside O'Mearas shop in Flagmount which is on the loop. Walked north for about 1km and turned left at entrance to "White Sands'. The road sign for Cahermurphy forest has been knocked down. Follow orange arrow markers for the loop.

Note that the visitor center portion to Doolin was closed today. For how long ? It should be checked ..

Magic trail...

Mix of grass & stone trail with lovely views of the river Shannon, hydro electric canal and disused navigation canals. Relaxing, easy, flat trail with refreshments in Clonlara!

Just day hiked Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher and back. Was an amazing trek, from fields to examining the beautiful Atlantic coast along the way made it very scenic. Also you get to feel like you’re “rising” with the cliffs as you gain elevation into the park (free admission). TIP: you will notice a divergent trail “off the beaten path” about 1-1.5 miles in. It allows you to walk right along the cliff all the way to Moher, very very cool!

One of my top 10 hikes of all time. Have Patrick Sweeney give you tour/hike since he mostly built trail (Doolin cliff walks).
