Views were nice, however, we had to turn back halfway, as there was no way forward.

Great when the weather is nice

Very easy walk, live locally so do this regularly. plenty of bird life along the way, suitable for children also.

Just finished walk in 2 hours. Parked outside O'Mearas shop in Flagmount which is on the loop. Walked north for about 1km and turned left at entrance to "White Sands'. The road sign for Cahermurphy forest has been knocked down. Follow orange arrow markers for the loop.

Loved it!

Great trail with an amazing view of the Burren from up high. It took just under 3 hours due to the rocky conditions and the climb was easy. Would recommend to bring hiking footwear and food.

Have completely this walk loads of times it's fab never fails to impress.

Very pretty. After hiking we stopped at a place in town to eat and watched surfers!

We parked our rental at the northern end of the trail and took a shuttle to the southern end (7 euro per person, it’s completely worth it). Absolutely beautiful trail. The southern portion is very maintained, safe, and easy enough for virtually all skill levels (without physical limitations). As stated by others, the closer you are the visitors center, the more crowded it becomes. As we proceeded to head north from the visitors center, the crowd dissipates and the views are incredible. Unfortunately, due to more recent landslides, it becomes somewhat questionable/frightening at times (it was also intermittently raining, typical for Ireland, making it more slippery at times). Taking the trail from north to south would increase the difficulty, as it would be more of an incline than what we experienced starting at the southern end.

We part of this trail in Aug’18. This is a beautiful walk. We didn’t do the entire thing due to weather but it was well worth getting a bit wet. Definitely recommend it if weather permits. I would go back just to do it again. PS the further you go the fewer tourists...they start to dwindle / turn back...at least when we were there. Make sure you wear the right clothing and shoes as well.

beautiful! managed to catch the sunset as well! a must!

Lovely walk, easy walking,lovely views.

One of the hidden gems! Bring a bite to eat and take in the views. it's like walking in Galicia.

Lovely walk across the limestone shelf. Great views, and the little church and well (signposted about half way round) are just beautiful. Highly recommend visiting the Burren Perfumery nearby too. A great day!

Beautiful up until you get to the tower and the tourists are everywhere!

Mix of grass & stone trail with lovely views of the river Shannon, hydro electric canal and disused navigation canals. Relaxing, easy, flat trail with refreshments in Clonlara!

Flat easy to navigate trail, part grass, part stone trail with panoramic views of the Weir at the start of the Ardnacrusha electricity generation system (8 km closer to Limerick along the canal). Very relaxing.

Unearthly. A grand auld stretch of the legs, nothing too strenuous, though boots are essential.

passegiatta bellissima. Non vedo l'ora di tornare un'altra volta

Just day hiked Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher and back. Was an amazing trek, from fields to examining the beautiful Atlantic coast along the way made it very scenic. Also you get to feel like you’re “rising” with the cliffs as you gain elevation into the park (free admission). TIP: you will notice a divergent trail “off the beaten path” about 1-1.5 miles in. It allows you to walk right along the cliff all the way to Moher, very very cool!
