Multi-day trail for trekking from hill station to hill station and staying overnight at farms and makeshift guest houses. Did this with regular hiking shoes and 45L backpack. Bring plenty of water since it gets so humid. Make sure you have a map and GPS.

Wonderful wonderful trail! It can be a bit icy depending on the time of year, we were there in March. Bring good shoes/boots and a bit of cash. The owner of the tea shop Sunil, is great and you will want to enjoy tea and a snack. He also has some cards/ photos he has taken of the spectacular views that are very reasonable. If the donkeys that bring up supplies are on the trail, step aside towards the mountain, not towards the edge! They are carrying large water containers so they have a bit of a wide load and don’t necessarily allow for this. Can’t wait to return!

A steep climb to the phantoms head rock, giving a fabulous view of the river valley and surrounding mountains. After that some walking in the tea plantations. A great hike overall

The trail is not too difficult. There are no markings and some paths lead to private properties. At one point on the trail you come across a woodden gate which is a private property presumably, only way to continue is to jump over and keep walking. Up until this point the trail is well defined and can even accommodate a jeep, after this you gotta go by walk. You might come across some cows and pet dogs too.

The trail is awesome with breathtaking views... weather changes from sunny to cloudy n foggy very quickly...the trail near the triund camping site is bit rocky but then the view from the top is worthwhile all the efforts n pain..I trekked in starting October ...not much cold...all the best and get closer to nature

Amazing trail that gives you a panoramic view of the great Himalayan range, rivers, walking through a dense forest, meadows, Flora, Fauna, and photography, and can be a perfect start for beginners and nature lovers.

2-3 points are really difficult and pro tip don't believe on ur guide when he says we're about to reach 4-6 hrs it takes to reach at the top(at night), winter is the best season also trust me when i say it's damn cold on the top during winters.

My first legit trek, quite arduous but end is worth the hype, under the star lit sky and hot water spring.

Walked from Stok Village to the flags area. Good trail that gains elevation slowly. Did this with my 9 yr old daughters and they were able to handle it fine. Lots of cows, horses carrying loads for trekkers, and friendly dogs along the way.

This isn't a particularly stenurous hike, but is definitely very unsafe, dangerous and treacherous. The trail is not kept in a good condition, resulting in places where a slip of the foot will result in a drop into the ravine. There are spots where the trail has been washed out. Hikers don't tend to stick to the trail and take several shortcuts resulting in divergent trails that are more dangerous. There have even been numerous deaths in the last 2 months. Do not go here when it starts raining. The mud makes it even more dangerous. https://www.ndtv.com/cities/kheer-ganga-to-barshaini-trek-himachal-pradesh-woman-trekker-dies-after-being-hit-by-falling-rocks-2046627 https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/shimla/tourist-dies-while-trekking-in-kullu/articleshow/69016581.cms
