Lovely walk with great coastal views.

Easy trail to view some waterfalls. We did the hike at night to get a nice view of the stars.

Didn’t do much hiking, more like scrambling around the rock formations. Still a really cool, unique landscape - almost like another planet.

beautiful easy walk with tons of views of the coast.

Beautiful easy trail. Mostly paved. All ages. No slope. Astonishing view.

Nice easy hike along the coastline. Beautiful sweeping views

Lovely coastal hike

This is a nice trail that walks through cooled lava rocks covered with moss with the ocean by your side! At Hellnar there is a nice cafe where you can grab a drink or bite to eat before heading back.

Lovely walk along the coast with beautiful views. When we did it the car park was basically empty at Arnarstapi (where we parked) but very busy at Hellnar

Enjoyable coastal walk along the cliff top. Mostly flat, clearly marked and great views in both directions

Very scenic hiking area at the coastal line of Snaefellsness

One of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland

Simple rocky path along the coast. Great views

Trailhead was hard to find. GPS coordinates were a little off. Park by a small pond on the west side of the road. Trail is not marked or defined at all. Must have GPS working. Lots of loose lava rock. Beautiful views from the top!

Gorgeous scenery along the coast. Straightforward and simple. A must if you are staying in the area!

Beautiful walk between two villages. Views were spectacular in both directions so coming back the way we came was not repetitive. On a windy day this could be less enjoyable. We hiked it with our two young children in backpacks.

Very easy nice hike along the coast and through the lava fields. Lovely views. Several iced patches but easily circumvented.

Absolutely gorgeous

This is a fantastically interesting trail geologically. We saw two seals swimming in the water during the beginning's coastal section, sat and watched them for about an hour. We also came across boat wreckage in that area. The trail gets and stays rocky for most of the way. It can be challenging to stay on the path as it is a bit vague at times. Many interesting rock formations keep this interesting, with consistent background scenery and a dome-shaped hill for flavor. The hike is a bit flat which I would consider it's only drawback.
