The basic trail is just for everyone, also families with small children. We have added 2-3 kms to the castle Szarka so it took a bit more than 5 at the end. It was really worth it.

Nagyon kényelmes széles út. Szép rétekkel szegélyzve, patak, völgyek, kilátás, néhol árnyas. Aranyos kút forrásnál piknik padok és asztalok. Magyarkúton az Irma forrásnál vendéglő.

One of the most beautiful cities in the world. A walk along the Danube is a must when visiting Budapest.

Going up to the lookout tower from zebegény was quite hard. It was straight up the side of the mountain for about 1500 ft. Going down was just as difficult but in a very different way because of how steep and not packed in the trail was. Would definitely recommend hiking sticks. If you don’t bring them but still want to do this trail, I would only recommend for people who are lighter on their feet and in pretty good health. Overall, the views were spectacular and we could see Slovakia from the top of the hill!

I would recommend this trail - it’s really beautiful and hiking it is a great amusement! With my wife we arrived at 12:30 and did it in 4 hours in a comfortable tempo. The highlight for us - Rám szakadék, of course.

Nice trail for a wknd stroll. If you star form Dobogókő just take the yellow stripe and then the green stripe in order to go around the rám szakadék area. You can start either from Dobogókő or from Dömös, just make sure you take Rám Szakadék on the uphill part, it just make more sense and looks more spectacular. It is an easy trail and it can be done by pregnant women or kids. At the end of the trail, towards Dobogókő there are some nice Csárdás where you can relax.
