Length: 3.9 mi • Est. 2 h 24 m
The hike is along the country trail which is mostly a dirt path with some stairs at the beginning and end to reach Clearwater Bay Road. The best part of this trail is the High Junk Peak detour which goes over two peaks. It's very overgrown in places with a narrow path and has lots of bushes to scratch at your legs (long light weight pants are recommended.) The hike finishes at Clearwater Bay Road just past the beach.Show more

Beach Paradise in Hong Kong. Tai Long Wan Hiking Trail (大浪灣遠足郊遊徑) is about 12 km long and located near Sai Kung, Hong Kong. The trail is great for hiking and normally takes a half day. While Tai Long Wan may take little leg work to get here, this secluded spot in the east coast of the Sai Kung Peninsula boasts crystal clear water and a beautiful strip of sand, providing tourists and local people a paradise to escape the hustle and bustle of city life in Hong Kong. Tai Long Wan is formed by four amazing beaches – Sai Wan, Ham Tin, Tai Wan and Tung Wan, of which Sai Wan and Ham Tin are more popular with restaurants providing food, beer and room / tent rental services while Tai Wan and Tung Wan are more remote without any man-made facilities around that attract surfers and camping lovers. Tai Long Wan beaches are connected to one another and can be accessed by a bus ride and a-1.5-hour-hike(12KM) from Sai Kung Town. Show more

The Twin Peaks also known as Ma Kong Shan (孖崗山) / Stanley O Twin Peaks are a pair of mountains that are popular to tourists and locals. This trail is not easy and has a lot of stairs to climb however the majestic views at the peaks are incredible! This trail can also be done in reverse. Alltrails also has the Twin Peaks as a loop, check it out here: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/hong-kong/southern/twin-peaks-via-wilson-trail?u=iShow more
