WalkingGreat!

Tough first half with steps from HKU to mid point. Thankfully we decided to take the easier flat route (Peak loop) to the Peak. Nice view along the way with shades.

Great trail. Tough but great. I started and finished at Tung Chung Station, so did extra miles. Also spent about an hr at the Ngong Ping village, and checked out the Tung Chung Fort on the way back. 19km in the end. Path is well maintained ( concrete & wood ), so made for easy walking compared to some of the other dirt trails. NOT for the unfit. Take LOTS of water, try freeze a few bottles the day before, its helps a lot.

Great trail but much of the scramble up the north side is by using ropes. Would be treacherous when wet. Going down the south side it overgrown in places and quite tricky. Trail is relatively clear.

Nice and easy flat trail - once you get to it. The climb up Wan Chai Gap road is steep - but it might be the fastest way to get there. Super close to the city.

Don’t attempt this hike. The trail is not maintained, is overgrown and blocked by fallen trees. At one point there is a bridge that is extremely unsafe and should not be crossed.

A lot of steps. From Mt Bulter. Can follow the catch water to go back to Mt Bulter Road then to Tai Hang Road if people don’t want to go all the way to Quarry Bay.

The trail is on the back of the hill, has a bit uphill and downhills. But nice view along the way!

Unable to complete. Path up mount Davis is not looked after and overgrown vegetation, trash, fallen trees makes it unenjoyable. The path down mount Davis instead is dangerous, with a shaky wooden bridge too and it simply ends at a fallen tree, overgrown forest made it impossible to continue. Do not attempt this hike.

Great hike from Sai Ying Pun to the Peak with great views from a lot of different spots! We also did a short extension to High West, amazing views of the surrounding islands and the city!
