Pretty good hike, going up a little strenuous but not a killer

Excellent hike accessible via public transport. Great views and walk despite very low elevation.

The ascent to twin peaks is the most challenging part of the hike, once you pass this part it's enjoyable!

Short but challenging hike. Descending towards Stanley, you will enjoy one of the best views of Hong Kong.

Summer hike on a cloudy Sunday. It rained yesterday, so a bit muddy. Weather was perfect for hiking today. Completed with personal best. :)

I usually don't think HK Hiking is tough this course is challenging. It took 3 and half hours for me who is doing regular exercise. Impressive nice view

The trail started in a nice residential area so you can tell most paths are exceptionally well paved. This is a popular trail w/great view of Stanley, mix of shades/no shades. Overall easy except there’s a set of 1200 stairs that go up to the twins but well worth it.

Great trail. Very steep steps in places. Take plenty of water

Generally a great trail with fabulous view across the south of the island. Only the steep alternative section we took that runs parallel to HK trail section 5 was a bit difficult for kids.

Nice walk towards Stanley Road then Repulse Bay. The beginning has a few steps but after a couple of KM it’s all good! This is the easy way “avoiding” the second set of mountains.

Very well-maintained route with a big part that is well-paved. The trail has nice low bushes along the way and nice views of reservoirs, the sea and Stanley. The part going up the Twins is one long stair which could be a bit rough. Still very rewarding. We started at Happy Valley Tai Hang Road and ended at Stanley.

Nice and easy cruise downhill. Easy to get a taxi at the end of the trail. Or turn around and walk back up the hill!

An easy hike for the incredible views you get. Simple to get too and follow! An essential trail even if you aren’t a big hiker

Well worth the amazing views if you’re up for climbing the zillion steps. Would say verging on difficult but easy underfoot in most places. Pack your water then double it as this hike has little in the way of rest stops.

When you are at top you can see the back of the Dragon! Finish at Big Wave beach where there’s a few surfers. Take the minibus to the MTR from there. Easy!

Great walk, but, as had small children in tow, decided to go round rather than over the Twins to Stanley. Lovely weather and dry underfoot.

Nice trail. We didn’t have a good view as it was very cloudy. Highly recommend this one with a clear sky. Stairs were steep, not an easy trail.

Don’t start from the cemetery near Chai Wan. It seemed much more enjoyable and cooler for people starting from To Tei Wan and ending at Big Wave Bay. Definitely go to Shek O after.
