This beach was AMAZING!!! The path is very steep so it is best to wear tennis shoes! The work required to get down and back up is totally worth it. The view is breathtaking!

Short but worth the scramble over rocks and along a narrow path to get to a quiet beach. I wouldn't recommend when wet. Some parking spaces at the trail head, just by the Sea Lodge II sign.

From photos and other reviews no doubt this is a fun and beautiful jaunt. Sadly, it is still closed.

A not too long great trail with some boulder scrambling at the end but so worth it. Hiked here to beach today after a few days of no rain. Not many people. Access to trailhead well marked. Moderate trail.

Rained on us but still a great walk through old Club Med. Hiking sticks not needed.

Still closed. I asked a Gardner that was working on a house close by, he said it’s not worth risking it for a picture...the high winds and surf make for a deadly combo!

We did this today after a week of heavy rain and rain today. There was about a 45 minute window of sunshine so we took it! The trail is between the fences and then goes down a very steep trail. From the rain it was VERY SLICK and MUDDY and quite strenuous. I don’t know what it would be like on a dry day but after heavy rains this trail was not for small kids or anyone who can’t climb, and scale down holding the ropes. Only takes 10 min or less.... The beach at the end was the prettiest we have seen though and totally worth it!

This is closed due to high surf and dangerous conditions. Be smart. People have died here from ignoring warning signs. Read the scary story from the guy below who thankfully made it out. Don’t put yourself or others (to save you) at risk. Skip this.

Great little walk to a nice beach near Hanalei Bay. Awesome views from the parking area with a couple of picnic tables. A good sunset spot, too. Beach was nice and had a lot of shade.

CLOSED. please respect the signs, and don't go in. don't put the first responders at risk, and don't worry the locals. Closed for a reason. Very rough water.

Gorgeous little slice of heaven- totally worth it for the 10 minute hike. Snorklers saw dozens of sea turtles, and we even saw a seal, planning to go back in a few days.

Read previous reviewer's harrowing experience... when the fences and locked gates and signs say closed and dangerous this is not to be ignored. Do not jump over the fence. A young woman was swept away by the waves while she was simply climbing over the fence in late 2018 ... her body has not been found. Wait for summer waves and the locked gates to open. The Pacific Ocean is raw and wild, it is not a water park.

This trail is closed for good reason. It is dangerous as hell - we went down there a few days ago because everyone else was doing it when we got to the parking lot - so we went around the fence, hiked down a sketchy rooted little trail and then began to proceed over the rocks. We made it to the pool about ten minutes later and watched it for a bit. No one was swimming and the water was super rough. As we were kind of standing there looking down on it, a huge wave came and water came up to where we were and knocked the people I was with, right off their feet and pulled them back a couple yards. They came up bloody and shocked as hell and that’s when more waves came. We hightailed it out of there realizing the dangers and on our way back more big waves came and were coming up and over the path back. In retrospect, I realize how incredibly stupid it was but thought I should share this so other people know that the waves can be no joke down there and it wasn’t particularly big when we got down. Out of no where though, the waves just got bigger and more frequent. It’s no wonder people die. There is no where to go once this scenario begins as the rocks are on the edge of a cliff face and exposed to the open ocean. I’ve heard that multiple people have died on single occasions there after sharing our story a few times with some locals.

We were looking for an easy trail with beach and surf views on a rainy stormy day. Perfect choice. Very easy walk thru the manicured grounds of the old Club Med down to a beautiful beach and wooded grove.

BEWARE!! Steel spike sticking up on left side of trail! Literally pointy and sharp!

Trail is a challenge. Beach gets a fraction of sun.

Snorkeling proved to have only fish and the under toe is quite a struggle!

Clean beach. No shells

Closed. Gate up. Don’t bother.

Super steep to get down to the beach but best snorkeling I’ve found on this side of the island so far. Super clear and not too choppy, saw about 6-7 sea turtles!

Excellent views and swimming hole. Be aware of tides and waves. The first couple hundred feet of the trail is steep, muddy and may be hard for younger or older to make. Trail is short though, I wouldn’t mark as hard, just need to be cautious.

Super muddy but worth it!! So beautiful. Pretty steep and loose ground/grass for part of the way so make sure to wear sturdy shoes! There is A LOT of coral at the beach very clear for snorkeling but it is very shallow so if you’ve never gone before I wouldn’t recommend.

Trail closed most likely due to people not understanding the dangers of the area. Wave height is not the same thing as tide. People are so misinformed judging by the reviews. Knowing how to accurately read the surf report is so critical to enjoying this spot safely. Being here on an incoming large swell is the absolute sketchiest time. If you don’t understand that, you have no business visiting Queens Bath.

This was minutes from where are staying, so it was a must see. After speaking to a local neighbor, saying it was closed but most people just go around the fence we decided to take the chance. We hiked down the muddy trail, it was moderate in my opinion. It was NOT high tide when we went in the morning. We stayed away from the edges and paid attention to the waves. It was definitely a site to see but we would much rather see it in the summer when it’s calm and an actual “bath”. I highly recommended checking the weather and surf conditions along with using caution and common sense here. Happy hiking!

Trail closed - cops writing trespassing tickets when we came!
