This property was apparently recently purchased and theres a huge gate across the trailhead. Luckily if you know the right people the owners fine with responsible hikers. Definitely worth the hike out and Vandalism is a huge thing at this trail. take any valuables out of your car and it recommend leaving it unlocked if you don't want to replace broken windows. While we were there I left my car unlocked and took everything valuable out, someone still got in and stole my car charger and a letter I had written for my grandfather but not yet posted. My friends car was locked and they broke the window and ransacked his truck.

Very well traversed with good coverage. Downfall of the coverage is the amount of spiders haha. We checked out the caves a little bit but my group got skittish so we continued to the cliffs. The water and scenery was incredible. We dive some cliff jumping too because the water is deep. On our way back, my friend and I went back into the caves. The water is just out of sight from the opening of the cave. There were some people down there and they showed us the back part of the cave and we got the rest of our group to come in too! Definitely bring flash lights. This hike was absolutely incredible and we will definitely go back again.

DON'T DO MT. LAM LAM TRAIL IF YOU ARE JUST VISITING. I just recently did this hike a few days ago when I was visiting the island for the week. If you are looking for a view the beginning of this trail is great but instead of following the trail to the summit of Mt. Lam Lam take the more obvious path to the right towards the crosses. This has a beautiful view and has much more bang for your buck. This portion took me about 30 min to get to the top. As for hiking to the summit of Mt. Lam Lam. Only do this is you want to say you did it. There isn't much of a view, just a flag and some "jungle/rainforest" area that is neat to see. With that being said be ready for an overgrown path. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND pants and maybe long sleeves. I had shorts and a sports bra on and my legs got pretty scratched up and my stomach had a few scratches due to going through the overgrown vegetation. The vegetation can make it difficult to follow the trail sometimes (you get can get confused because it seems like it could be a possible pig trail) but just pay attention to the map. Honestly the way out was easier to follow (due to the markers) than the way in was. Long story short I felt like the summit was not worth anything more than just saying I did it. The cross summit was way more beautiful and you could see the whole island and is totally worth the hour hike.

It was more of accidental hike since we stumbled this trail while hiking Lower Sigua falls.

Nice hike but muddy at the beginning. I would not rate this hike as hard maybe moderate. I was expecting a harder hike it took me 2 1/2 hours round trip

Pretty well marked trail with great views. Hike past the caves to the cliffs, the view and sounds are breathtaking! I got a little off trail on the way back since there are so many false trails, but just look for the faint spray paint for the way out once you pass the caves.

Fun hike! Our first on Guam. It was a bit muddy and slick on a few rocky areas, but overall not bad. Lots of shade. Would definitely recommend a flashlight for the cave. I had my son in a hiking backpack and we did the hike in a little over an hour.

This was my second time out to Sigua Falls. Due to recent rains, the 4x4 trails leading out were extra muddy and there were areas where you just couldn't avoid it. My hiking boots were covered up to the ankles in mud when I got off the trail. The descent/ascent to/from the falls is challenging and ropes have been strung to help assist. Cool spot to visit and swim at but super hot, exposed, and muddy.

The path was well cut out. The steps were quite slippery in some areas.

The waterfall was amazing but the trek out there wasn't that great. My GPS wasn't working well so we ended up way off trail on the way out which is really easy to do since you're walking on a bunch of muddy 4x4 roads which go every which way. Once we got to the single track there were a lot of sharp plants so pants or tall socks would be helpful. I didn't understand why the trail was rated as hard until we got to the last bit. It's really steep and muddy so there are ropes to help you climb down to the area where the falls are. It was a lot of fun and added a nice little challenge going in and coming back out. Brings lots of water because there's no shade on the trail.

easy

Beautiful hike. Did it with two teens and a baby we carried in a pack. Take your time with the kids, some parts can be pretty slippery. There is a rope at one point to help with stability. It can be pretty steep in places. The cove itself is beautiful. You can jump from the large rock that juts out into the water. As with any hike on island-bring water and water shoes if you plan time in water. Reviews online mentioned that cars can be vandalized at the trailhead, and this was true for our experience. We returned to find a broken back window and interior ransacked. Nothing stolen, we don’t leave valuables in the car anyway. But glass did get everywhere, car seat, etc...something to consider. Cop did say that even if you leave your car unlocked, they’ve noticed that sometimes the perps will still break windows. If you’re able-being dropped off and picked up to hike avoids this issue. If you can’t do that, just be sure not to leave valuables in your car.
