Fairly easy trail. Short steep incline in the beginning. No need previous experience. I recommend long covers over body as the sword grass is taller than the average person. Your shoes can get quite muddy. Trail is mostly narrow and some parts stay careful not to walk on the edge. I heard bugs like spiders are everywhere but they generally don’t bother you. Possibly might be in the way but not dense. Overall, if you don’t mind some bugs, dirty footwear and grassy pathways, check this hike out.

As mentioned above the first part of the hike was very muddy but easy, we even found some old WWII bullets that were uncovered by the rain. The steepness at the end before the waterfalls was tricky but manageable with the ropes. However I do NOT reccomend this hike for inexperienced hikers. Also, do not attempt this during wet season. The mud was so bad by the time we tried to make our way back up the hill it had turned into a mudslide and was unmanageable. We had to find an alternative route that took several hours until dark. Be very cautious.

The trail is overgrown after covid lockdown; that is for a trail at a park and monument location. There are lots of spiders across the path. It will be a great family trail again once trimmed back. I’d rate it 4 stars once maintained again.

Super Muddy. Not great to hike after a rain. It’s better to wait till the dry season.

The cave is absolutely gorgeous and fun to swim in. Be sure to bring a flashlight! However, the hike is pretty rough. The rocks are sharp and many are slick which can be challenging while going down hill. Coming back up was much easier.

Enjoyed the trail today. Well marked. Nice views at the end. Good exercise. Very enjoyable quick less than 60 min hike.

The day I hiked Mt. Lam Lam was long after the upper trail had been cleared. The sawgrass was twice my height for much of that portion. Spiders were thick on everything. The last fifty feet up the rocks to the peak was a bit exciting. If you like it rough then you might like this trail. If it were cleaned out then it'd be fairly simple. There is the other named trail (Jumullong Manglo) that shares the same starting point and incline which splits near the top. There are several large crosses there. That path had been cleaned and was kept well. The view from either peak is basically the same.

From the trailhead to the overlook is easy. There are definitely a lot of spiders but just let the tallest person on the hike go first and you should be good. If you decide to go from the overlook to the water, the hike becomes much more difficult. From the overlook you climb down some coral rock with the aid of a towing strap someone tied there. Doable with a toddler in a hiking pack and a small dog to carry down, just take your time. The rest of the hike is all downhill with loose coral rock; can be a little unstable in places. When you hit the bottom there is a pink marker on a tree to help you find the way back if you go down to the water. It’s beautiful and a good place to explore-but there is little exposure from the sun and we got hot quick here. The rock became pretty hard for our dog as well, so I don’t know how much I’d recommend this part of the hike with littles or dogs. Maybe a better one to come back and do (this part) when they’re left at home. The hike back up kicked my butt, but worth it trip all the same. Just bring bug spray, lots of water, hat, and some snacks.

It's not necessarily a hike where you need a backpack and lots of water as the trail is just a square at GCC for biology students to know about limestone. Took this trail in 2014 when I was a student so pretty chill place.

3 month ago trail was pretty clear . Today it is VERY overgrown to the point you wanna turn back! Not kid friendly unless on a back carrier. Views nice at the top. Not worth doing more then once.

Great, well marked, well established, easy hike with a couple moderate rock descent/ascent sections. It's downhill there and uphill back so get prepared if you're not in the best shape. Inside the cave is spectacular and an easy scramble down into them. Lights are a must as it pitch dark inside and you have to see the inside; the rock formations are incredible.

It was a challenging hike. Great work out but was not enjoyable. Up and down muddy slides and got stung by something, maybe wild bees 6 times at once. Got to the place where the waterfall was visible and took the marked path on the right but was apparently not the correct route. Ended at some very abrupt and steep end and was not courageous enough to proceed. Would love to go back and enjoy the pool and waterfall but with someone who knows where to go. Checked my recordings after and was definitely off the path although following the markers.

Spider city!! A really nice hike, if you're not afraid of spiders. They are everywhere, although they're harmless. Use a stick to wave in front of you as you walk or you might get a face full of spider web. Otherwise, a great hike and make sure to continue all the way to the ocean for some amazing coastal views.
