extremely beautiful mountain. no shade at all, go very early in the morning in summer season. I did it in mid October. less than 10 degrees at the top, but no need of trousers or jacket, as no wind and perfect blue sky. Sometimes hard to find the track but it's not a problem, as you can walk pretty much everywhere. I did many of the summits, all almost as high as mount Parnassus.

The top is very very nice but the trail... Is there a trail? First we start on a shady lumber road (for about 60% of the trek) and then the road ends in a grassy open field. No trail, no mark but animals trails all over the place. Don't follow the red line on the map. Use the other track on the map for ascent. On the way back, I was able to see some old tracks in the bush (shortcut on the serpentine road) but there was no sign bar rare bleached flags.

Great hike with an amazing view at the top. Highly recommended. The trail is marked perfectly.

Well marked and maintained trail (2/3) until the sheep pen. Past the pen, the trail disappears first among animals trails and the signs starts to fade away. Then you are on your own. I went off trail.

Wonderful trail. Taleton peak was the home of Zeus shrine destroyed by Christians who built Prophet Elias chapel. Nearby lies Dimitris Liantinis last residence.

Great trail with spectacular views. Perfect marking, almost impossible to get lost. Physically challenging, took about 10 hours there and back.
