There is no traffic noise - dominant in the silence of the forest is only the roar of the Ehrbach, which swells especially on the high standing Peterslay with a view of the Rauschenburg from the depth of the gorge upwards. Try out the forest echo at Hübingen! Already in the early Middle Ages, the Ehrbachtal has been recognized as a side valley to the Moselle and connection to Boppard on the Rhine as a strategic and attractive location. Today it is the dream destination for hikers. In order to experience the beauties of the Ehrbachklamm as well as the splashing and the waterfalls of the stream best, one must wander the dream loop against the current and thus counterclockwise. Sturdy footwear is required. Starting point: Wanderparkplatz on the K 120 in Oppenhausen. (For Navigation: Mittelstraße, 56154 Boppard) Refreshments: Daubisberger mill, in the Ehrbachklamm, Phone: 06745 267 Gasthaus Tenne, in Oppenhausen, Phone: 06745 182828 Eckmühle, in the Ehrbachklamm, Phone: 02605 659 (closed on Mondays)Show more

Rural idyll in the town of Boppard shows the dream loop Hasenkammer with start and finish point at the fairground in Herschwiesen, a round village with the newly renovated baroque parish church Sankt Pankratius, which shines inside with lovingly restored wall and ceiling paintings. The name of the dream loop comes from the same field names in both Udenhausen and Herschwiesen. Small game and especially the brown hare are at home here. The beautiful orchards with crunchy apples and sweet cherries tempt you to steal your mouth. Wonderful viewpoints in and over the Brodenbachtal with a hike along streams.Show more
