Best trails in Berlin, Germany

The route starts in Köpenick and first leads through the old town along the Dahme and then up the Spree. Here you hike through beautiful forests and with a little luck you will see a few beavers. As soon as you get to the Müggelsee, follow it to Rübezahl. The path continues past the Teufelssee to the Müggelurm and then to the Großer Müggelberg before returning to the Dahme. It wanders along the Dahme before it takes the arm of the Große Krampe up to Müggelheim. The path leads directly into the forest with pine plantations and smaller undergrowth trees, before it flows into the beautiful beech forest near the Gosenkanal. Ultimately, one crosses the Alt-Spree at Hessenwinkel and follows the Dämeritzsee to Erkner.Show more

Great hike through the north of Berlin. Start Glienicke Nordbahn through Frohnau and the Tegler Forest to Tegel. Rest there - eat pizza and continue to Tegler See. At Tegler See over the Sechserbrücke to Tegelort to the Sandhauser Havel and then to the Holy See and Niederneuendorfer See. Back on the Wall Trail to Glienicke. It was a total of 30 km. This is where the memorial advertising pillar and a sculpture are located, which are intended to commemorate the Rosenstrasse protest: in February 1943, the Jews who remained in Berlin were arrested and taken to the building at Rosenstrasse 2-4. Before that, relatives (often wives) gathered and loudly demanded their release (as a result, all those arrested were likely to be released). Wonderful walk starting at the Pichelsberg S-Bahn station along the Havel with a wonderful view over the water. Finally you turn off and walk through the idyllic mixed forest, where you can come across hikers, cyclists or riders, but also one or the other wild boar.
