Absolutely loved doing this hike. The trails are incredibly well marked. If not in shape like I was, it’s tough, but doable. Did the 11 days hike, about 10 miles a day. Did a mix of camping and refuges for overnights.

An amazing hike in the southwest of france! Been here twice and both times it took my breath away. There's a beautiful waterfall at the end of the hike.

Excellent trail, covers a lot of varied scenery and gives a great sense of the TMB contained within a single day. Beautiful views at the two lakes make the effort to reach there worthwhile but the two refuges the trail passes and the chance to stop for a drink high in the Alps really adds to an already excellent day.

Did part of the trail from Haut-Asco and north to Punto Gialba. Very beautiful but also very difficult with a lot of climbing. It was therefore difficult to pay attention to the wonderful views.

My study abroad group took a weekend trip to Annecy, France. Looking for local hikes, I found this one. The view was worth the steep ascent!

Once in a lifetime experience!

My wife lived in Lyon for a few years. When I would go visit, I would walk this daily to go to Mass. It is a peaceful walk with great views of Lyon.

My advice is to keep going north till u hit the private beach.

6 Days trail running with a great deal of training up front and overnights at hotels with luggage transport between (there are services for this). Pretty much one of the most glorious experiences ever - landscape changes every day and you get sheep, cows, rock goats, marmots, glaciers, rock scrambles, winding paths with fantastic resources along the way: water stops and rest stops with bathrooms and meals to buy.

Awesome!!! I did it twice!!!

I went this trail w two girls who hasn't done much hiking, and I suggested this one was rated as easy. Turned out to be reaching the head of Lion wasn't that easy for them and they found it quite challenging. Track isn't very clear to climbing rocks but you will not lose baring as where you are headed and which direction you are suited to go is very visible. There are also few other hikers and we all had multiple cuts from bushes Good walking shoes could help. Breathtaking views and good photo spots.

Muy variado. Excelentes paisajes. Bastante esforzado. Recomiendo 100%.

An easy two hour walk in the country side

Absolutely one of the best treks I've ever done! We camped so carrying all of our stuff made it more of an adventure and much cheaper! Camp sites were great and the scenery is the best you can get.

The place Francis Dupayrat, which is this loop's meeting point, is a lookout on the pre-Pyrenean hills of Chalosse. The fragmented fields remind the visitor that this region is historically located in a country of sharecropping. The route descends from the west towards the Louts below and borrows the Chalosse greenway linking Dax to Mugron. After the flood grove, the hiker easily goes uphill back to the starting belvedere.

Best backpacking trip of my life so far! 9 days mostly tent camping. Almost after there was an incredible view from a high up pass that we worked hard to reach. Challenging but so worth it!

Fantastic views! We left at about 8 PM and were at the top at 9:30. We had scenic views of the city the whole way up, and were surprised by the historical preservation. Yes, a lot of stairs, but absolutely worth the climb. It is also possible to take the gondola up to the top for fairly cheap (6 euros for students) but I would suggest climbing up if you have the chance.

Amazing collection of megalithic statues. Extremely interesting and educational. Such a wonderful discovery. Great walk and a very beautiful place. Simply great.

So wonderful.

Magnificent. Most beautiful part of Paris. Extremely popular. Very crowded. Lots of history. The very middle of Paris is marked right outside the Notre Dame cathedral.
