Nice park with views of the Mediterranean and the port! We came up from the beach which added a lot of stairs.

As tough as this walk can be both physically and mentally, it is equally (and even more so) as rewarding. The terrain itself is not overly difficult, but the distances, day after day, can be a challenge. Make sure you know where you’ll be getting your water and pack it accordingly. Some stretches without a water source are long and the heat can be life threatening without proper hydration. Do not underestimate this!! Also, though there is not any rock climbing, the trails can be very steep and go on for km after km. Make sure your knees are strong before you begin this trek. Downhill can be a big challenge after a few days. If you decide to do this amazing challenge I wish you a BUEN CAMINO!

Great views at the top and quite a downgrade workout on the way down to the valley floor. Make sure your knees are in good shape if you're working your way from the top, down.

The hike itself to the lighthouse isn’t that bad and wasn’t that interesting, but along the way there’s opportunities to go more wild and walk into bushes and through narrow paths and dead ends to get to rarely visited beaches. I found that part to be truly amazing

Fantastic views and relatively easy trail, the restaurant at the end of the trail (where the mer de glace and train station are) is quite good! Also i highly recommend going inside the glacier!

I didn't do my hike on this exact trail, but went to the trailhead and hiked trails that are in the area. I spent a winter weekend in Chamonix (14-16 Dec 2018), and the trail I hiked was Le Flegere. A beautiful hike that ended at a ski station with the next stage to the peak being Le Index, but I was not allowed to continue because of skiers on the slopes. So I had a sandwich, and warm wine then took the Flegere ski lift back into town. I am not sure how to upload new trails into here, but there are countless hikes in this area that AllTrails does not show. For a December hike in this area, you must have walking sticks (I prefer ski poles for their durability), crampons, and good winter boots. Also, you have to be careful and physically fit because the snow can get quite thick on the trails during the winter. The locals advised me against doing the White Lake (Lac Blanc) walk during this time of the year because the snow drifts can get chest deep. Besides, you cannot see the lake during this time of the year. Recommended Packing List (Winter): - Ski Poles/Trekking Poles - Crampons - Multiple Layers of warm weather clothing - Cold-weather boots

Trail community is great! Some areas could use some trail maintenance and can be busy. Still, an amazing and addictive experience.

I walked the Camino Frances in the fall of 2015, taking seven weeks. I plan to do it again in the spring of 2019. There were good days and some not-so-good days but every day had good parts to look back on.

Awesome experience. The trail is generally well marked and maintained. Some of the steep down parts are terrible but overall quite good. Enough gites for averaging 20 kilometers per day. Conques was fantastic, mostly because of the Abbaye and evening organ concert. I walked from Le Puy to Moissac in about 21 days. Every day was different, every day was hard, every day was fantastic.

One of several falls in Tahiti Nui. This one is the easiest to get to by far. The road to the trail is a little congested with the housing in the area. Once at the trail, there is ample parking and some local vendors selling various items. Walking back to falls is quite nice and the cascade of several falls is really overwhelming. Enjoyed this easy and gorgeous waterfall trail in the Papenoo valley as many others traveling in the area. Note: Also called 3 cascades falls. Limited cell service due to mts. so no recorded route possible.

Really neat roadside grotte in SW Tahiti near Paea. Lots of nature to explore and enjoy. Also, local vendors are set-up nearby. Two caves do exist, but swimming within the caves is at your own risk as the depth and any safety concerns are unknown.
