From the village of Banos located on a hillside overlooking the Gabas, the hiker crosses corn fields by a sunken path that leads through a forest with various species. Then the route joins Montaut and its viewpoint over the Adour valley and Gabas valley. A new route starting from the Tilleuls square in Saint-Justin. This very nice trail begins at the edge of a vineyard producing the famous Armagnac brandy, produce of the distillation of white wines. Then the hiker will walk along a small pond that may freeze in winter. After the cross of sauveté, bordering the territories of the clergy, the Church of Douzevielle and its apse of the XI century appears between the pines. Some airials, and the track goes back to the village along the Douze river in the forest.

Located on the via Lemovicensis of the Santiago de Compostel pilgrimage, the Romanesque church of St. Candide de Bougue serves as a starting point. A path through woods and fields takes the hiker to the farmhouse of Mégnos as well as its pond. Then the route joins the greenway of Armagnac, popular bike path. Caution during the the wood pigeon hunting season (October-November) and all year for the wild boar hunt.

The loop is located on the municipality of Coudures in Chalosse. The country road leads the hiker to the crossing of the Bas creek, stream flowing into the Gabas river (tributary of the Adour). The route runs along ridges and sometimes allows open views on a rural landscape of cultivated fields, fallow meadows and groves. Then, the hike runs along the hill reservoir of Estela and ends its route by the washhouse and the fountain of Brameloup.

The hiker starts from the old Bourriot train station and gets into a forest environment punctuated by farms with a traditional architecture specific to the Landes massif. The loop connects with the Bergonce village and then heads eastward toward the station. During the mushroom season, the watchful walker may be able to come away with ceps in his bag.

Departure from the Romanesque church of Saint George de Lussole (XIIth) and its bell-gable, style that is found in other municipalities in the province. The forest track accompanies the walker to a sandy track inside the pine forest and winds its way to a small oratory chapel heralding the Mouncaut sources. They recall the old pastoral beliefs and immerse the visitor in a haunted atmosphere of witches and magicians. This setting is accentuated by the presence of cloths hanging on the branches, left by the pilgrims who came to visit the three miraculous sources: Saint-Eutrope (headaches), St. Anthony (stomach ache), Saint-George (rheumatisms). Extreme caution is recommended in October and November, hunting season for common wood pigeons.

From the central arcaded square of this bastide of the fourteenth century, the hiker takes an easy route in the countryside. In the middle of the sedimentary basin of the Adour river, the fields are gently sloping and separated by woods. An alternative departure from the chapel of Lamensans is also possible. Caution during hunting season in October and November is recommended.

The starting point is located at the parking lot adjacent to the Convent of the Jacobins who gives shelter to the St James way pilgrims. The walker crosses the arcaded square "Tour de Sol" where stands a Benedictine abbey. From the Cape of Gascony, a breathtaking view of the Adour valley and the Landes forest marks the beginning of the descent to the river. At the foot of the buttress, an old washing, then the trail follows the river on the seawall. It leads to the confluence of the Bahus and the Adour rivers. The climb to the start is smooth thanks to a cultivated plateau.

The walk starts at Roquefort, an ancien castelnau of the XIIth century located at the confluence of the Estampon and the Douze rivers. After the wooden arenas classified as historical monuments, the walker enters a wood leading to the mill of Batan and the Gallo-Roman site of Mouneyres in the neighboring town of Sarbazan. The return towards Roquefort takes the walker to a rural area and then along the Estampon river

The loop starts at a rest area and sinks in a pine forest along a path part of St James way (path of Vézelay). The trail is cut by the A65 motorway, which will have to be crossed twice thanks to two short tunnels. On the way back, the walker meanders along a path overlooking the Ribarrouy creek and might watch a deer drinking from it before reaching the parking lot.
