Super rando, rien à redire, paysage magnifique.

Completed August 2019. This is one of my favorite hikes of all time! We started at Point Sublime and hiked up to the Chateau hostel. The hike is challenging and worth the effort. You will wind through the gorges and have plenty of completely unobstructed views . You will get PLENTY of great photos if you want to make stops. The hostel has great food and beer to enjoy the fruits of your labor! Recommendations for doing this hike right: - This hike is closer to 10miles. I saw it quoted as 7 on some websites. - Bring a light for the dark tunnels! We used the ones on our phones, and it was fine. - Bring 2 cars if you can! There are buses that will take you back to Point Sublime from the hostel, but they do not run on the last weeks of the summer. The cabs will also not run. We ended up hitching a ride with a very kind woman back to our car, which would’ve been a minimum of 10+ miles back

Nice trail great for families. Would recommend taking lift to Index and then return via Flerege if you want to make it easier. Lake was frozen still and snow pack had to be crossed in multiple spots. Was able to navigate with no poles or spikes
