Very disappointed, this trail is clearly not kept up. There were two large trees down over the path which were decaying and had obviously been down for a while. Additionally, the bridge near the start of the trail seemed to be falling apart. The trail was flooded when we visited so we had to turn around.

Short, sweet, and pretty walk. Too short to call it a hike. We love the owls, eagles, and hawks. Usually see squirrels, turtles and maybe a snake swimming around on occasion.

Short, simple, but very pretty in early spring. Path needs some maintenance.

Super cute and super easy. Our two year old walked the whole way and we saw turtles and an owl.

The trail had a fallen tree and a washed out bridge at the beginning. I managed to access the rest of it from the road just a bit down the way. Once we got started it was very clearly marked and pretty easy. I did it with a toddler on my back. We are staying at the north campground so if you are there isn't worth trying. I wouldn't make a special trip.

This is an okay trail. Nothing really special about it to be honest. It’s good for little kids however. If you’re in the area and you’ve already checked out the interpretive center, you should do this trail. Reelfoot isn’t known for the hiking (really popular for birding).

Short easy walk very relaxing. All along a boardwalk.Trail head starts at the Reel Foot Lake State Park. Bald Eagles and Owls to see.
