Agree with others- do Jackson first, it's icy at the top, cross to Webster and down from there. . Caught a nice clear day with no wind. Terrific views from both peaks. Started around 7am with one other car in lot. Returned at 11am and lot was full. Spikes all the way.

Hard packed snow and ice in 20’s F made beautiful conditions for a family outing to work off too much pie Half the team went to Webster. The other half continued on to Jackson, which was described as “ very sketchy in places “ Excellent views from both peaks.

Was looking for a 4k with limited exposure for winter practice, and this was definitely the one to pick -- protected from the wind the whole way except for the very top -- and it sure was windy today. Packed snow the whole way made Crawford trail a relatively easy climb with just spikes. Decided to go down the Hut trail and found myself post-holing sometimes however, and there seemed to be rows of half fallen trees on the edge of the path by the hut which made me a bit nervous with the wind howling.

Nice lolly pop loop. Great views on Jackson and good views on Webster. I like going up Jackson then over to Webster and down the Webster Trail. The last 1/10 of a mile on Jackson is really steep so makes for a better and safer ascent vs descent especially now with the ice on the summit cone.

There is currently an icy portion just past the train tracks. I missed a turn due to fallen trees but only took a couple of steps North before realizing I was wrong. The frozen waterfall is pretty and so was the flume. However just past the flume the trail became too icy even with spikes. I didn’t get to where I wanted but still a pretty hike with lots to see as long as you are fine with looking at things that are in front of you and not a hundred miles away.

This trail was amazing, my cousin Adam and I got to feed the grey jays at the top. The view was incredible and breathtaking. A perfect place for a picnic, we sat up there with some other awesome hikers for 45 minutes enjoying the view, the birds and each other’s company. The hike was moderate I’d say. I feel it was easy for such an intense view at the top. Definitely a 360 view, you can see the range, Mt. Washington and the Mt. Washington Inn. I didn’t want to leave. It was definitely icy and snow covered through out the hike, but manageable with spikes on. We didn’t end up crossing over to Mt. Westford because of the snow coming. Enjoy, definitely a must do!!

Did just Mt Pearce and part way to Eisenhower. Winter for sure. 80mph at top. Fun day wit Steve, Tom, Tom, Becky Chris and Ruth.

Hiked this weekend. Don’t forget your spikes! Pretty icy close to the top. 4 hours round trip, was a good work out and worth the trip the Sky was clear at the summit and the views were fantastic.

We took Edmands Path up and it is by far one of my favorite trails. The waterfall is currently very icy and along the trail in general has spots of ice. Microspikes are highly recommended. Eisenhower is beautiful. I loved it very much. Pierce was nice as well. We then ventured over to Jackson and summited there. If you do this there are some blow downs along the way from Pierce to Jackson but can be maneuvered around.

Good hike. Can get confusing over by Mt. Webster. Make sure you don't go down the cliff trail if you don't mean to! Late Oct we had sun and 50 degree weather at bottom, snow and WIND at summit of Jackson but thankfully cleared up by Webster. A tough hike after rain! Bring good boots. My Apple Watch says just under 7 miles (but we wandered quite a bit), and over 1200 calories burned! Quite the cardio workout.
