Good hike. I did the red trail all the way. Loved how secluded it was.

very fun trail and moderately challenging. the red trail leads to a gorgeous overlook, trail markings aren’t the greatest but we were able to figure them out. definitely will be coming back again.

The trail had too many pointless inclines and declines.. view at the end was fair, not much traffic

Really great hike. There are parts that are definitely quite challenging, especially because I have a bad knee, but the view from the peak is amazing and worth it. We took the red trail to the green, there were some breathtaking rocks (I’m a nerd from some good geological features) along the green trail. Once that met back up with the red we continued to the peak and down to the intersection with the white trail. This portion of the hike was very steep down with many rocks and unfortunately at this point I couldn’t handle more with my knee so we did not finish via the blue blazed trail like intended and exited the woods where the white trail meets saddle ridge rd. Definitely going to go back and try to conquer the loop soon though!

This moderate trail is cool and refreshing with beautiful views at the two overlook areas. we took the red tail out and be trail as a return to the parking area, which has adequate number of spots for this quiet suburban trail. Some of the blue trail is covered with down trees. just plundering forward and you'll see the next blue blaze.

really interesting trail. the red trail offers steeper climbs and beautiful views. I would suggest go up and back on the red dot trail. I took the blue trail, connected via the bushwick trail. the trail is difficult to navigate with much thicker vegetation and isn't as well traveled as the red line. I was forced to improvise on several occasions to navigate around fallen trees. the dried river bed is also a breeding ground for mosquitoes. overall a nice hike.

Great time hiking!! Will definitely come back!!

There are parts that you need to strategically navigate which makes it more than a walk in the forest. Definitely rocky, which became tedious at times, but not a deterrent. Kids liked looking for frogs in the muddy parts and streams. Well marked. Saw no one else. It’s summer. Bring bug spray.

A little muddy but overall very well maintained. Only passed two other hikers, which is surprising given the beautiful day we had! Would definitely go back :)

Great moderate hike with a couple of good views, some waterfalls and a couple very minor rock scrambles.

I liked it since local to us. I’d definitely rate as moderate. (My 78yo father has done Stratton Brook and Hublien easily but I would not bring him here) Hilly, water run off where I had to jump a stream with the dog. Wet slippery leaves at the time. Went when leaves were down so could see the trail markers, but would be less confident to see the trail in summer. Very woodsy and not well trafficked so the trail is narrow at points and harder to follow. (Thank you for all trails GPS) But felt like a true hike rather than a walk. Maybe would be closer to 3.5 than 4 stars, but I’d do again since convenient.

a little more strenuous with snow, red trail up to peak awesome, blue trail on way back not so much,a lot of hidden rocks and mud, definitely would be better without snow, all in all recommended, on to the next one

Great hike with spectacular views of the mountains and waterfall. Also, well defined trail markers. Definitely would consider it a moderate hike.

Great loop, blue trail takes you back in time through a tight and rocky valley. I’m proud of my 7 and 9 year old for doh g whole loop. Nice view from summit too!

The red trail was pretty challenging with many inclines which was a great workout. HOWEVER - it came to a point in the trail where the MARKERS STOPPED and we got completely lost. This is a huge oversight for the park and can be scary for hikers. When will this be fixed?? We had to Uber back to my car.

My husband and I walked the red trail today. This was the first time we walked a nature trail. Some parts of the trail was very rocky. It was a great experience and the view was beautiful.

I was looking for something different than Hubelein tower. It was a beautiful day, 72 degrees. I did it late afternoon, and there were only 4 cars there (left from North Saddle Ridge Rd). I went to the peak, and it took me about 20 minutes to get to the top (I was pushing myself). If you go at a gradual pace it may be more like 30 minutes. Great lookout - I didn't have much time before sundown so I decided to go back down. Will definitely go back to go for a longer hike on a different day. I definitely recommend for others!
