like everyone else said, not a loop but still a nice hilly walk.

The bridge is very pretty and the setting overall is pretty serene. I'm not sure you can loop the course without getting onto busier streets (i.e. via neighborhoods on one end and past Hoodview Park at the other). Still, this is a good segment to run or a good destination out-and-back for families. It's a walk, though, not a hike.

The hike itself is alright, but there’s a hidden trail off to the left shortly after the bridge. Climb down the hill, and If you travel down about a quarter of a mile there’s 2 waterfalls and a swimming spot. The climb down the side of the hill is fairly difficult but well worth it!!!! 10/10

This “trail” was so expensive to create, and while it’s a lovely walk, it far from being anywhere near a hike. The photos are deceiving in that the waterfall is completely inaccessible and TINY!!! The bridge is honestly the prettiest part of this trail. The pathway is fully paved and steep and there is little to no shade or areas to sit down by the waterfall , so you can’t even have a proper picnic really.

I took my 9 year-old grandson on this trail. he did fine. I didn't see that it was a loop so we walked down to the bridge and the falls then turned around and went back up the hill. challenging for me only because I'm not in very good shape. All in all a great break from screen time for both of us.

After waiting forever for this trail to open up, I was so disappointed. The waterfall is tucked away so that you can’t get near it. The path is so wide that I don’t feel like I’m really inside the woods, but rather walking next to the woods (and you have to stay on the paved path). It’s fairly short, the Loop isn’t completed, and a significant part of the trail is steep. I am not entirely sure if this trail is great for wheelchairs or strollers because of the steepness. Good for adding variety to a neighborhood walk or bike but just not the nature experience I crave.

Pretty waterfall! Best waterfall hike in Happy Valley that’s for sure. Very easy, all paved. It’s not super steep but there is a significant downhill portion to get to the bridge and falls. Quite a few dogs on the trail. Hike is safe for kids. A hidden gem in Happy Valley! I do this hike often for some quick exercise close to home. It’s also not a loop! There is nothing to see on the other side of the trail past the waterfall besides a construction zone. But if you want to add on to your workout it’s a nice little climb!

Not a loop trail. Easy. Fully paved. No shady spots to sit, but we walked up to the Hood View park & back. Was a nice place for a toddler walk.
