I started from Idlewild Park and jogged on the asphalt trail until it turned into concrete sidewalk and then seemed to end at a road. I was headed towards downtown so I'm sure the trail continued in some form on the other side of the road but there I turned around and ran in the other direction. In this new direction I ran back through Idlewild Park, a very nice park, by the way, and continued to follow the trail which at times was sidewalk and then back to asphalt. I stopped when the asphalt trail ended at a very tiny park and I had no idea which way to go to continue the trail. I do know that you'd be running on roads or sidewalk through residential neighborhoods beyond this point. If you managed to reach Dorostkar Park you'd find trail again. their were probably a few hundred Canadian geese wintering at the park. I couldn't help but wonder if they summer in my interior Alaska with tens of thousands of their brethren. Overall an okay place to job if you don't mind jogging on asphalt.
