I think this may likely be better in the winter. The first part is easy, then I noticed I missed where to turn. went back and did not find it. Had my app which works offline and thought OK I'll just meander. so I meandered up and down some pretty steep areas through spiders out the wazoo. Non venomous, but one did bite my leg because it wanted to I guess. The 10 I took to the face and probably hundreds to other areas did not bite. So it is called spider valley because it's quite literally a valley of spiders. Aside from the app only matching the trail about half the time once you leave the main trail, and the spiders more numerous that I'd ever encountered (and I've encountered plenty) once you leave the trail, it's quite pretty and peaceful. I'd go back. Just not this time of year.
