From South Palm Springs Go south on South Palm Canyon, left on Bogart Trail. After the bridge turn left on Barona Rd (the first street). Alternate one: Take Garstin Trail to the iron signage, turn left on Earl Henderson until it intersects the ascent on Shannon Trail. Alternate two: Take Garstin Trail up the slope to the top, turn left to descend Shannon Trail. From Araby Cove From East Palm Canyon, turn south onto Araby Drive. After crossing the wash, park in undeveloped land beside the road. Walk the wash southwest and cross to Landsdale Rd (private). Follow this road up to an embankment on the left of the road. Take the trail (unnamed at this point, but marked with small metal signs) along the left side of the embankment.

Connecteur inter-sentier: le sentier Shannon Ce sentier court ne comporte aucun sentier directement accessible depuis le fond de la vallée. Au lieu de cela, un sentier commence le sentier Henderson à environ un quart de mille au sud-ouest d’Araby Cove. L'autre point de départ part du sentier Garstin près d'un croisement avec le sentier Berns, près du sommet des collines les plus basses. Le sentier est de difficulté moyenne et monte assez rapidement sur 800 pieds. Un randonneur a une vue très nette et assez proche du manoir Bob Hope et de plusieurs autres grandes résidences qui peuplent Southridge.
