This trail takes you through the forest of the Trollabacks and along small roads you pass the broken-down countryside in the west. At Rumperöd you go straight into history. The old village environment also has unusually high natural values. In the gardens grow bridal brush, bridal bread and stone moth and on old trees there are rare mosses, lichens and fungi. After a piece of hilly forest, the landscape opens again and small gardens and field patches line the trail. To the west of Snöarp you turn into a hilly spruce forest. Look out for the open hill with Sissa's cabin and water source. Immediately you encounter Helge å, on the way from Småland to the Skåne east coast. Along the river you come across the meter-high fern safsa and several key biotopes. The last stretch passes you cottages and camping, the camp site Klinten you will find on the slope at Osbysjön. The lake is a good place for birds to walk in and the view tower at Näset a nice place to watch them from. Along the trail there are a couple of well-preserved backbone cabins to visit; Mån's back cottage at Trollabackarna and Sissa's cottage west of Snöarp. Helge has been an artery for people for a long time. The river has been used for transport, washing and the power of the water has been utilized by industries. In the vicinity of Genastorp you will find both authentic industrial environment and ruins. At Göta Bruk, there was a former mill, paper mill and from the end of the 19th century the mill was manufacturing knives and axes. In the center of the village you pass past the building memories, once Strömsborgs Färgeri and Ullspinneri. Today there is a museum. Between these industrial memories you go right next to the remains of a diatomaceous plant. It was in operation from the second half of the 19th century. Diatomaceous earth is shell from diatoms, which are purified, crushed and mixed into dynamite. North of the river there is a worthy hill, Hönjarum's defense facility. It was built in the 1670s.
