Wander through vast forests in the north and across the rolling plains in the south. At the edge of the forest is Roslätt's oak gardens, an oasis for insects, birds, bats and lichens. At the popular destination, Västerkulla, you have a magnificent view of the plains. Along a boundary wall a bulwark grows in the Swedish flora, Naverlönn. You will find the only wild-growing trees in the country and Svedala has chosen Naverlönsblad as a municipal weapon. Naverly maple is otherwise common in plantations. At the height of Elinedal, you walk along the foot of a strange geological formation. The Ullberg hook was pressed up against the ice edge at the end of the ice age. Inside Landsvägen, the landscape is strewn with puddles. Most are dead ice pits after the dying inland ice. The town of Trelleborg is located in a plant zone and is known for its palm trees. East of the Dalabadet you will find grazed meadows with orchids and birds. When traveling through Svedala you can study brick architecture. The area is rich in clay deposited in former ice lakes and in the community you will find the "new era" brick house, with high pedestals, rich pattern trim and decoration of the facades. Svedala's many brickworks flourished in the late 19th century. At the same time, the pioneer of female writers and the best poet of the 1880s had their breakthrough, Victoria Benedictsson with pseudonym Ernst Ahlgren. Here she grew up on the farm Charlottenberg. Pilgrimage to victims, as man has done for thousands of years. The source in Fru Alstad was considered to cure most of the ailments and the one in Aggarp was known to help against foul-smelling weather conditions. Next door is Fru Alstad church with the center pillar studded with pilgrim marks. Aggarps magnificent mill is not to be missed either. The mill is a Dutchman from 1896. Further south you walk past the marked Gyllhögarna, four burial mounds from the Bronze Age. On a granite stone south of there is the shape of a foot sole engraved. In Trelleborg you can visit an early castle of earthquakes and plank. The original castle was probably military camp in the united Denmark.
