This trail takes you along the shore of Lärkesholmsjön and through spongy beech forest. Via a tunnel pass road E4 and on wide paths you round Åstorpssjön. The walk goes through moist deciduous forest and noble leaves. Immediately you enter the Hallandsåsen but first look into the rock wall on the outskirts of Åsljunga. Water is constantly seeping over the rock and unusual lichens thrive. A path takes you up the steep slope to the view and the Åsljungagården exercise track. After a short distance past farms and open gardens, you are facing a couple of kilometers walking on footpath. Moss's plants live on the precipitation that falls and existence is barren. Here grows meadow wool, water clover and anthill. Occasionally, black and white feathers play. The estate Lärkesholm has an exciting history. One of the landlords that affects today is Anders von Reiser who lived in the 18th century. He is annexed to school, library and distressed and is the background to today's walking area. South of the lake is Skåne's largest and best preserved fossil farming landscape. At the watercourse next door is Vångamöllan, the mill's mill with mill pond. On the way to Åsljungasjön you pass the old king's road and just next to the deceptive slopes. Here, robbery leagues suited to await exhausted travelers. Nearby you will find a milestone with the inscription ½ M. These posts were set up when the state was responsible for travel and accommodation for travelers. Every other mile there would be a inn where people and horses could go and eat.
