This trail goes along easy paths over meadows with grazing animals and narrow coastal roads past summer houses and beaches. Along the trail you can make a tanker journey several hundred million years back in time. In the water bridge at Gislövshammar you will find traces of extinct octopuses, south of Nabben black lumps after ancient algae and seaweed. At Brantevik, there are 570 million year-old wave markers, wave ripples in a former sea, and in the harbor you will find a stone with huge but indeterminate tracks. When you pass Norrekå's open grassland look out for sun-loving rarities such as flowering flowers and sandy carnations. To the north of Skillinge nature offers generously on itself with ancient arches, groves and sloping rocks down to the shore. During spring and autumn it is a good place to watch the sea bird stretch. Just south of Brantevik there is the country's only plant site for the moss "sloping beach bush". A few kilometers from the trail, you will find the Nordic region's best-preserved medieval castle, Glimmingehus. The building is over 500 years old and unusually well preserved as it was a magazine for the manor Glimminge for several hundred years. The main nutrition of the population was fishing and along the entire coast there were simple fishing spots. Many of these have evolved into the fishing villages you meet today. In most locations you can stroll in the associated harbor, but in Örnahusen you will have to look out for cows, an older facility with gutters where boats can land and moor. Other cultural-historical tracks along the route are millstone mining at Gislövshammar, mining a piece northwards and rock carvings just south of Simrishamn. Notice Simrishamn's typical double doors and whitewashed joints on the roof as you walk through the city.
