This is a remote trail. Here you go through large forest and over wetland, follow forest roads and several stretches with stepped path. If you are quiet, you have the chance to see moose, capercaillie and marsh. Koarpsmosse is a rather untouched bog with plants such as tulip and the yellow-flowering bog lily. To the west you step into the Music Valley which has been difficult to reach for the human being and has been left to develop freely. Here there are plenty of tree trunks that decompose and are sought after for delicate lichens, fungi and beetles. One piece from the trail is the Djurholmamossen, Åstarpemosse and the wetland Pennebo with constantly spawning water sources. Djurholmamossen is unique to Skåne and part of a walking area. Åstarpemosse is regarded as one of the country's most valuable wetland areas. At Högalteknall you pass Halland's highest peak, 226 meters above sea level. Around Ekered you pass an exciting landscape. Large trees with wide crowns and mortar wood in their interior. The holes that are formed are important for small insects and birds. A little out of the way you will find Ekered's herb rich meadow. In the early summer, the meadow sparkles with flowering butterballs and Virgin Mary keys. Around Ekered, the human tracks are many and clear. From early Middle Ages you can find long-haired tigers with parallel stone strings. There are also splendid ruins from the three farms that were abandoned in the 1940s. Around the village lay in fields with fields and meadows, Ekered's nature reserve is one of these meadows. You see the remains of the village fields in the spruce forest, where piles of cleared stone remain. Figs, parallel fences, show where the animals were past pastures to the pasture on the forest-rich outback.
