This walk starts in the car park on Rosedale Chimney Bank near Bank Top. Head along the path adjacent to the calcining kilns, which were used in the 19th century as a step in the iron production process. After taking a sharp left onto the intersecting trail, you will be heading south to cross the road. Once across the road, you will soon come to Ana Cross barrows, a funeral site that also offers great views of the surrounding moorlands. Take the next left and descend to the farmlands again. Continue along the route until you arrive at the car park where you began.

This a very poor description of the route, someone could easily get lost trying to follow these instructions. Loved the walk after we figured out the route to much information missing
