This circular walk begin in the town of Litlington at the Plough and Harrow. Walk north along the Cuckmere towards Alfriston and head east on the Downs toward the Long Man. The Long Man is a large figure thought to have originated from the 16th or 17th century. Continue along the Wealdway towards Folkington and Jevington. Before you get to Jevington, head into Friston Forest and turn right at Charleston Manor once you exit the trees. In the distance, you will have views of the White Horse of Litlington on the hill to the west. Turn right onto the South Downs Way and back to the Plough and Harrow for some well deserved refreshments.
