Did the whole trail to the end and back with an hour stop at the lake to dry socks and shoes (there is thick, wet moss by the lake on your path) Took 9 hours in total, was the only one to get to the end and back, don’t stop at the lake, go to the end as there are slightly more views to see. 3 ascends and descends in total, middle one being the toughest to ascend on the way back. In July you’ll be able to catch snow up there, this year (2019) had high bear activity but I didn’t see any on my path despite it being deserted. Be aware that if you took gondolas, they close at 6 pm, and the route down to parking is around the mountain which is another 7 km at least, so make up you time in the morning. Enjoy!
