As advertised...... Beautiful views of the lake and river and pretty yellow maples turning. Good walk for someone needing a gentle walk in nature. The hill is short and otherwise trail is wide and easy walking. When you leave day parking area go straight ahead and then right (we went left to the bridge) which is not the loop!!! Still beautiful fall day - perfect for us.

Parking is odd or nonexistent. Which isn't a bad thing I guess, had the whole trail to ourselves.

Prett flat, one tiny hill at the midpoint. Nice short run.

Lots of nice views of the river and lake. We just did out and back rather than the loop so that we could stay near water.

Short hike/walk down to the lake. I made the mistake of going to the south entrance of the park first and there really isn't much of a hike/walking area around there. For this one, you want to go to the North entrance across the river. The hike itself is very short (the only reason I gave 3 stars) but the lake is beautiful and very scenic. I took my dog and we had a nice afternoon in the sun. Definitely a very easy/short walk through the campground to get to the lake.

Easy with one short hill. Hard to find at first but then it was clear once you were on the trail. Some overgrowth. Pretty waterfront along the way. No bugs when we went two days ago.

Not a bad little hike, but nothing outstanding. Very easy, with much in the way of inclines. Mosquitoes are pretty bad right now. A couple of nice views of Lake Wenatchee.

Super easy trail. Limited parking at trailhead unless you are camping. Discovery pass needed. Wide, clean trail slowly meanders through the woods and to the lake shore. There is bathroom facilities at the lake shore. one hill to climb but otherwise flat.

This trail is banned from hiking. It is only open to skiing this time of year. they threatened a $99 fine if we walked on this trail. This is unfortunate because we travelled a good distance to hike it only to find it was only for skiing, not both.

The lake is gorgeous- however the trail isn’t that great... it takes you through a campground.

Great trail, and a beautiful lake, even with the smoke.

Perfect trail to walk with our dogs. A little confusing at one point of where the trail goes but we figured it out. Nice and easy.

A little buggy and windy but a gorgeous easy hour long hike.

If you are a novice hiker I would suggest Hidden Lake. For those hikers who are up for a good leg workout with plentiful beauty to keep you putting one foot in front of the other... this is for you. Well worth the extra steps to see the cabin and the second lake. Note to dog owners: not a hike for dogs who are older or may have hip/knee issues.

Like all beautiful but easily accessible places...crowded. I took snowshoes and the less scenic, less crowded route. Snowshoes were helpful in some of those outlying sections of trail still but not necessary and another 50+ degree day will take care of the remaining depth. I can't even imagine how busy and crowded it must be in season and when open for camping. Truly beautiful lake with I think Dirtyface overlooking.

Very good easy going trail. Took us about an hour of very relaxed hike but could have done in 30. min. Definitely recommend.
