This is a flat trail, as most in the area are. It follows the path of a former trolley line. Another segment of this path is north of I-295 in the village of Lawrenceville. The surface of the trail is clean, fine gravel, and mostly well maintained. The brush along the edges is a bit full, but nothing seems too overgrown, and there are some real peaceful wooded portions between Eggerts Crossing Road and Rider University.
