Beautiful hike with some rough terrain. A good amount of inclines. Rocky trails. Really nice stretch along a ridge. Great hike to a small waterfall.

Perfect weather for a hike day! But it has just rained so the trail was pretty muddy. With Gregg and Jess, cooper joined the hike and loved to go through the mud. Did not walk the whole loop, cooper got tired. A bit shorter hike than hoped and missed out on the waterfall. But still nice trail, lots of well kept trails very close, easy to make your own loop

Fun crazy warm day in Jan 2020. Quick relaxing hike to the falls

Said 5.5 miles...totally not the case. I cameled assuming 5.5 miles, but after the 5th mile realized it was a mistake.

With Andrew last hike of 2019

Scary but worth it

This is a great park where we like to walk our dog. I prefer the carriage roads but the trails are also fun. Hiking shoes are a good idea but it’s not too rocky, no steep climbs but it’s a hill. It’s part of the Watchungs, where Washington set up camp after the Battle of Brooklyn. You can’t go wrong here. It’s a beautiful backyard for the locals, and I like to walk here when I get the chance to stop. I park at the south lot near Millburn.

You need the app to follow the trail. We got off track a couple of times and improvised making this a 6.6 mile hike. Follow the yellow past the waterfall, which is not part of this trail, but you get back on track and change to white after it. Definitely worth seeing. It was very muddy today because of all of the rain earlier in the week. You will also have a few streams to go over. Some with a bridge and others without. Fun hike, beautiful day.

I started too late in the day and had to improvise quite a bit but all in all a lovely hike! so many chipmunks everywhere and I got to see some of the fairy houses which are very cool. the white trail is poorly marked and crosses many smaller unmarked trails so thank goodness for the app because otherwise I would've gotten lost in the woods by my lonesome! the yellow trail on the other hand is much more clearly marked. I took a shortcut on the sunset trail to make it back before sunset ironically enough and I'm glad I did, it's called the sunset trail for a reason! definitely some rocks and mud so be prepared but all in all an easy hike.

Pretty easy trail. Hate to say that it has very mediocre views. Do it if you have to.

Nice hike. Some pretty easy inclines. Did this one with my 8 year old son and he had no problems.

Lots of rocks but an easy trail

Like many have already said the markers kinda 'trail off' lol but this app is an amazing tool! This was an easy trail however, the inclines were definitely a workout. It's a great trail for groups or to do alone...peaceful and scenic. The tiny houses are absolutely adorable...we plan on coming back to build a few.

The trail is gorgeous. There is a waterfall, butterflies and plenty of hills going up and down. The only thing is that the trail isn’t as well marked as other trails I’ve been on, so I would deduct a star. Also it is not as kid friendly as you think, the elevated trail makes it difficult for them.

parts of the trail were overgrown and the tails were poorly marked but it was a nice hike

We didn’t go all the way through but we finished 4.5 miles I think and build 3 houses. It was very fun

Went for a nice quick hike. Just missed the rain
