Great weather today... we did 5.3 mile out and back (1hr 53min) to Plymouth mountain so we didn’t do the complete loop. Icy in several spots and muddy in a few. Strongly recommend traction device. Nice summit where there are several places to do some rock scrambling and take some nice photos.

Great trail - plenty of shade and sunny spots. Great hike with dogs. Spots of ice/snow.

Trail was open with little mud or ice, never put my micro spikes on. Barely anyone on the trail.

A nice moderate level trail run. Be sure to wear layers as it is chillier on the side opposite sun exposure and warmer of course on the facing side. Muddy in only several of the sun exposed spots. Otherwise very dry compacted and icy snow. Only exception was the peak and scenic overlook where there had been little foot traffic.

Beautiful trail. Perhaps one of the quietest places on earth! This place is so quiet that it literally defines the word quiet! Such peace and solitude! Definitely recommend wearing YakTrax so you don’t slip- not much snow for snowshoeing but did see people using them. Plymouth Mountain Trail in Deer Creek Canyon Park: 6+ mile hike and ~1,500ft elevation gain- took me about an hour and a half up and 35 min running down.....These pictures and videos do no justice....picture and sound. check out the hiking video I made of this place! https://youtu.be/H97Qs7Ps_uQ

Hiked on Thanksgiving and it was a blast. Lots of snow along Plymouth Creek trail and even more once you take the turn for Plymouth Mountain. Had Microspikes on and it helped tremendously. It was a winter wonderland.

Not bad, a bit muddy and snowy but not enough to need cramp-ons. The Deer Creek Canyon opened again on the ninth so no need to worry about closures.

Went to this trail today to try and hike it as my normal route from Two brands to black bear was closed. This trail is also closed. Didn’t stop to see what the fine was but I would assume just like two brands it’s 150$. Don’t risk it and don’t try it and mess the trail up. Find another hike for today. Not sure when it will be open. Could someone post a review when it is open?

Great hike! Definitely has some good inclines which make for a nice workout. The view at the top is awesome! You can see all of Denver; downtown, DTC, Chatfield. Highly recommend it.
