Not the best views. Was expecting a lot more. Didn’t live up to its name.

We stopped by a visitor center and paid for the park pass for $8 per car. We started off at the Bootleg Bottom and did the Coyote Trail en route to the Panorama Trail. Coyote trail is Rocky and big inclines at places. Views there are more gorgeous than what we saw at the Panorama Point.

Multiple access points to trails so trails were quite busy even on a weekday with novice hikers. Some washout but nice changing leaves.

Great hike with pups. Perfect amount of incline for a relaxing, fall hike.

Gorgeous views of aspen and changing Fall colors. I give this trail 3 stars because it feels like it's not being managed. The trail has been torn up by bikes and zillions of people; it's so wide in places that I call it a "boulevard". It was like I-70 on this trail today; wall-to-wall people and dogs. All dogs were leashed and that was a plus but all in all I think the entity in charge should do something similar to what they do at Betasso Preserve.

Aspens were beautiful! Quiet other than right at the point. Pretty smooth trail the whole way.

Great trail - some beautiful vistas. Fall colors are rolling in, but not quite at their peak. Some solid uphill climbs, but nothing too strenuous.

Great hike!! The aspens are changing but still not at peak. About 1 mile from the trailhead a moose popped out right in front of us! Luckily he just kept walking.

We caught the trailhead via Reverends Run campground and hiked it to Panorama point, only about 2 miles or so before our young kids (3 under 5) pooped out. Beautiful trail, aspens are changing and we got some great pictures. Not too crowded on a Friday.

Went 9/15 and the aspens aren’t changing yet. Definitely going back for that! Nice easy little hike.

Thunderstorms rolled in so we didn’t make the entire loop. Will be coming back this fall.

Hiked this starting and ending from Reverend’s Ridge campground going clockwise on the loop, which is 3.5 miles. Our two four-year-olds were with us. They wanted to be carried part of the way up, but we encouraged them with the promise of treats at the top. We stopped just shy of Panorama Point to snack in an area with large rocks and a view of the Mountains, which was nice because there was a little bit of a crowd at the point. After gummies, we were chasing the kids down the trail. They had a blast. Took a little over two hours. Totally do-able with kids, especially if you bring the right kind of snacks.

The first half of this trail, up to where it meets Bear Creek Trail, is easy with some rocky bits and nice dense forest all around. The second half is why the real incline begins and doesn’t stop until you get to the top. A little more challenging but 100% worth it for the views. There is an unofficial connector trail from the peak down to bear creek trail which will take you back to the Panorama Point trail if you go left, or into Lair o the Bear park if you go right. Makes for a nice loop that cuts the total distance from 4.7 to about 3 miles.

Gorgeous lookout point! Just FYI you can drive to the point but this path provides a good hike beforehand. Some mud from the snow melt right now but mostly good trails!

Spike hiked this trail counter clockwise from Panorama Point on Raccoon to Coyote to Mule Deer and back to Panorama! Quite a lot of snow still on the trail for May 2! Sections through the meadow were dry and brown. Most snow on the Mule Deer about 1/2 mile from Panorama Point... some spots 6 inches of snow! Best part of the trail was the steep and rocky uphill on the Coyote. Luckily, we had a beautiful sunny day!

Great hike. It was very crowded and there were a decent amount of mountain bikers. The trail was slightly washed out in spots which made it difficult to hike. The view at the top was beautiful and the Aspens were starting to change. The elevation gain was tough but the view made the climb worth it.

This is a short loop starting at the lookout point. Easy hike with lots of shade and beautiful forest scenery. The tail at the end of this loop is actually the start of mule deer trail. It follows the road for a bit before you start walking in open meadows. Overall a quite, peaceful hike over labor day weekend with few runners and quite a few bikes. My dog enjoyed the easy hike and all the other dogs were well behaved.

pleasant, not really challenging. was a rainy day when we did it so I think we missed out on some of the views, but I think on a clear day it must be gorgeous at the point.

Great weather, and the Columbines were just blooming. Absolutely beautiful views. runs through forest area, meadows, and rocky outlooks. There were some flat stretches but mostly incline/decline hiking.

We did the loop part only, starting and ending at Panorama Point. Its about 3 miles. It wasn't a hard trail but I can see it would be for people who don't hike as much. You go downhill, no matter which was you start (we went clockwise, which seemed the better option after completing it). But there are some great views, you pass through pines trees, aspens, along the creek, and lots of wild flowers, including columbines near the creek. Parts of the trail were rocky and muddy, and be on the look out for mountain bikers, they don't all announce their presence.
