This hike is hard but definitely worth the view! When I went it was muddy and super rocky. Once getting to the top was a little difficult because it was hard to see shoe prints so you have to look really closely!! There are ropes that help as a booster its always good to have a tall person go before you so they can give you a hand :-)

Kinda confusing on top. But we found it. The ropes are no longer there so you need a boost or a really tall person to get up.

Way more difficult than I expected. I chose not to go the final to the peak. But my sons made it.

Trail is wide. The last scramble up the mountain has several routes, 2/3 of the way up, stay to the left instead of following the trail out on the very exposed outcrop.

Nothing too exciting on the hike up, but the reward is definitely at the top. Climbing into the cave at the top and wandering around the boulders is wonderful. Great views in all directions. Definitely worth checking out!

Not a good trail for dogs or children. It is a non stop incline all the way up. Be prepared once you get to the last part to start rock climbing. The trail is not clear at the very end. There was supposed to be some ropes but I couldn’t find any. Once you climb your way through a narrow cave (not the actual one) you keep going up till you get to the peak. From the peak I had to climb down to where the actual cave was. Warning! I could have gotten stuck at the cave itself if I didn’t force myself to climb back from where I came. If you’re unsure whether you can climb back up or not do not attempt to go down. Overall it was a great adventure and it definitely got my heart beating. Be safe folks.

Fun trail. Couldn't quite locate the cave. Someone drop a waypoint when you're up there. Rock climbers might enjoy the top section. First 2/3 of the ascent are an access road, which is steady and ascent only. Next third is rocky and fairly steep with some technical scrambling. Actual summit is a bit of a crevice/crag climb that requires fancy footwork to descend. Good views and fun times throughout. Steady grade downward. Started later in the day around 3 and ended at 7, but peppered in some fun up and downs on the summit for a solid hour ish. Longer pants probably a good idea later in the day and because of all the pricklies. Good water supply recommended, particularly for early to mid-afternoon times. Very exposed.
