A great loop with amazing views of Iron Mine Bay. The trails are pretty wide for a good chunk of the hike, but get a bit narrow and a little overgrown when you hit Coastal Trail. That trail went a bit too close to the cliff’s edge for my taste, but, admittedly, the views were well worth it. Absolutely stunning. The hike back on Anderson Cove trail portion also had some nice vistas and elevation. I’d forgotten how far downhill I’d gone until I had to head back uphill about 85% of the way through the hike. Overall, inclined and declines weren’t too bad though. Really a great hike with a diversity of ups and downs, wide and narrow trails, rocky and soft, trees, ferns, shrubs, and coast. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
