A bit overgrown at the start and finish. An Ok walk if you’re local, but I wouldn’t travel for it. The bench is no longer at the turning point.

Very good walk, very good condition of paths, suitable for everyone, nothing technical or taxing, just a tow path walk broken up by locks and bridges so no need for maps, just a good simple walk until the end. Suitable for trainers unless wet then suggest walking shoes, doesn’t need boots or anything technical, we took keys and phone, no need for anything else, we took two cars to have one at each end. Multiple pubs along route if you need to stop for refreshments, took us a little over two hours to complete.

really enjoyed this 5.6 mile walk starting from Himley Hall, easy to navigate took approx 2 hours, take great care crossing the A449 dual carriage way, we ended the walk with a drink at the Dudley Arms before heading back to Himley Hall (£2 to park all day)

Very enjoyable walk, can be extended if you start at the cafe and head for the canel rather than heading right along the railway. Great views, would recommend.

Beautiful trail with loads to see, woodland, brooks, streams, open fields, old architecture and bluebell meadows will definitely do this one again.

Long but very enjoyable! It was a beautiful day and the views were lush. Walking back along the canal was wonderful. The trail is simple to follow- keep an eye out for the turning point as it’s easily missed (slope down next to the blue sign and head on to the main road briefly). Completed in 2.5hours at a steady pace with a few pauses to take pictures. Would do again.
