Lots of mud which is fine but parts, through the pastures, are quite flooded. Won’t run this one again until things have dried out a bit.

Very muddy at parts but this maybe down to time of year. Nice view next to streams. Recommend

Nice easy walk with good views along the way, great for beginners or A more relaxed walk

Great trail and the directions are very easy Very muddy on certain parts, lovely lunch at cricketers after

We enjoyed this walk, although the first part along the road is a bit hazardous particularly with dogs. Navigating through the golf course was a little tricky but added to the fun, definitely needed to use the map for this part. The anchor pub makes for a lovely stop.

Can park by the Bailiwick for free and walk down to the totem pole and start the walk from there. There is a cafe and toilets part way round and another coffee van at the far end. Easy for walking, cycling. Mainly flat with a few inclines’

Completed this on a windy October day but really enjoyed the route. Very clear instructions and very peaceful - hardly saw another person. Quite muddy along the Mill Bourne but enjoyed finding new footpaths even though I live locally.

There's free weekend parking just in the middle of the green. A great mix of lanes, countryside and woodlands. You can detour off to the Heathland too. Good pub.

Really lovely walk, we live near the area but went to lots of little spots we didn’t know existed and enjoyed looking at all the lovely houses in rural locations.

Nice walk mainly through woodlands. The first part through very nice woodland but noisy from busy road nearby then steadily gets quieter. A bit overgrown and muddy in places. The last bit through residential roads a bit disappointing but very short and then a lovely bite to eat at The Inn to finish

Nice walk along the canal sections and through the golf course. Walk along Blackhorse Road was scary!! Not suitable for walkers with small children.

Picturesque walk around Virginia lake, lots to see on the walk, cascade, Roman ruins and a totem pole, probably lots more if you go off route. Stroller friendly, lots of bike riders and dog walkers, could easily find a quite spot for a picnic if that’s what you’re after. Would visit again. Parking is £2.50 an hour

Really enjoyed the first part of this walk through the heathland. Very pretty and off lead dog friendly. The second half was not as enjoyable, some quite tight paths and a bit of a main road section. Would definitely do the first half heathland walk again and The Inn at West End is a fantastic pub with great service and lovely food

Okay, very busy on weekends, but that to be expected. Great during the day when it's quiet

Nice lakeside walk, flat all the way with a small waterfall and cafe.

Lovely walk, took just over an hour. Varied countryside with lovely views. Dog friendly. Drinks at the Inn at West End after. Sat in their beautiful courtyard which welcomed dogs with water bowls.

Pleasant easy walk. A little overgrown in places in summer. A fair bit of walking on roads/lanes all of which were on pavement or very quiet. Very clear directions.

Very pleasant walk. Well described route instructions and well mapped. a little muddy in places. select correct footwear!

Lovely walk! 4 adults, 4 children and 2 doggos thoroughly enjoyed this 4 mile route. Lots to see, several places for the dogs to dip in the water! Most of the time, the dogs were off their leads, as were the majority of the other dogs in the park. Food and drinks were alright here too, would definitely go back.

Nice walk. Quite a lot of walking along tarmac roads. Also pirbright public car park access closed but diversion in place

Very enjoyable loop, but the cyclists are a bit annoying. When busy the path is not big enough to have cyclists weaving their way through.

Interesting walk through common. The walk crosses a runway and the Mclaren business park. Some of the directions through the common are a bit confusing

Enjoyed this walk by the canal. Quite busy though. Maybe go in the week if you can

Nice walk a bit boring though

Pretty, quiet walk. Beautiful countryside. I’d recommend

Very easy and flat walking loop around lake. You can some refreshments in the middle.

Lovely walk with very accurate instructions. A few slightly muddy spots (in April) but just need decent footwear. The Inn at West End pub is also very nice.
