4.9 STAR C'MOOONNN

dog heaven

Lovely walk, lots to see. Not too hard and free parking. Would go again.

did this when i first opened with my wife at minus 6° ! on bikes was fun and fast filled up with walkers quickly

Nice and easy . more fun than the red but more likely to encounter walkers and dogs

not bad . bumpy due to breaking bumps created by novice bikers but it's a short fast blast in the dry . avoid in the wet as it gets very muddy and slow. watch out for walkers, dogs and deer . and the occasional reverse rider !

This route is the ultimate challenge! completed it twice each completely different as you can experience all four seasons on the Moors.

be wary of cyclists. they will appear in the most unlikely places at speed and zoned so they won't see you.

It may be that I was with the wrong person or went on the wrong day but I found it a difficult scramble and was unable to see anything but cloud from approximately half way up. Not a peak I’d recommend.

Really pretty, challenging but not arduous. Walked in the snow, invigorating and just enough

It’s a pretty walk but it’s uncomfortably busy and not challenging in any way. Was told it’s the prettiest place in Derbyshire; I digress, there are so many better places! Try Castleton, Matlock, Fernilee or Mam Tor!

Some trees down in the sections sections and a lot of mud - but a very enjoyable trail with a lot of variety and things to see

An easy walk, with plenty of other walkers. Go early in the morning to catch a glimpse at plenty of wildlife.

Really good walk for me and my Patterdale. Only issue I had that the only bin I came across was in the Car park and the Car park gets very very busy on a Sunday morning so I would recommend parking further away and walking!

lovely walk with some great flora and fauna

Decent trail. Mostly asphalt and gravel, the latter quite muddy as it was raining part of the time. I regretted taking trail shoes over asphalt shoes. Animals, birds, canal. Locks. Power grids. Interesting to walk along the reservoirs but don’t expect a view of them.

A Lovely walk. There's a variety of flora and fauna to see. The walk to the river was my favourite part.

Good clear day and surprisingly dry considering recent weather. Amazing views, all the way to Manchester and beyond.

Really good walk, did this with snow on the ground. Excellent views

a realtively easy circular route that encompasses the vast majority of historical sites in this oft fought over town.

The heavens truly opened when I undertook this trail a year ago, however, it was worth it to see the waterfall in full flow at the end.

Nice little jog around here, light undulations no serious hill. Would love to have taken a dog round here!
