I did that today starting from Great Maplestead.Easy trail with some not so clear footpaths. Before the Castle the road becomes fast road. The village is lovely and worthy to see.

Quick city walk up and down the river. Okay for dogs on and off lead but not loads of space for a big runaround

Enjoyed the walk, could t find the path to turn left and come back through the fields. Ended up going back along the track to the lane that lead me in. No great shakes.

The elevation info was wrong. More of a soft incline and flat walk. Great enjoyable walk though

Lovely walk but final sleeper bridge very difficult to get beyond. Unclear path but worth persevering!

Beautiful views but don’t be afraid to go with your instinct/the path a farmer may have cut for you to use, instead of following the map exactly. A beautiful stream to sit by, but soon after an area that was almost impossible to walk through as the nettles were at my height (cons of being a short a***). I have walked the same path in the winter and much easier as everything is dormant.

Stunning views, got not everything: lake, river, mountains, waterfall, pub, etc. Good distance. Starts and finishes at a lovely cafe.

Excellent, but not for the faint hearted. There were large portions overgrown m, and twice my walk was obstructed by cows. On one occasion I had to climb a fence in order to avoid them and on another wade through a stream. Difficult difficult but a lot of fun.

Nice trail through countryside, not so clear in places with a small section needing to walk alongside fast road with no obvious footpath.

Nice walk, if you’re going in wet weather or in autumn/winter then recommend decent footwear as was quite muddy around the ford even in mid august with little rain! Pub is open but if you’re parking there you must be a patron so make sure you have a pint!

Great trail! Got lucky with perfect weather! Easy to follow the trail and what a surprise to run into a few horses on the way. Only downside that a part of the trail is by a main road but don't let that change your mind

Did this route with the dog this morning. Really good description and easy to follow. Lovely views and nice to end at the Brewery if you time it for when it is open. Especially since they've expanded their tap room and seating area following the easing of lockdown.

An excellent walk with some really stunning views. It's a fairly easy walk with a couple of areas that inexperienced or very young walkers might find a little difficult due to the steepness. I highly recommend!

We started the trail at Exton and from there went anti clockwise. The instructions are good, there is a complicated bit before and around the ‘Betty Mundy’s Bottom’ area so keep alert. Excellent view from the top of Beacon hill, route goes through idyllic agricultural fields, woodland and steep rocky footpaths. We took a leisurely 3 hours. There is a good pub in Exton and a shop in nearby Meonstoke.

A lovely quick loop that follows a peaceful trail through the forest and fields. Some sections go along roads and residential paths, but all in all a good walk and recommended if you live in the local area!

Hilly in places but mostly shaded on a hot sunny day. A sneaky half pint was had at the Generals Arm just before Parsonage Lane!

If you park up the road from the start (by the tennis courts) you see the view seen from the most of the walk. Real mix of woods and Stunning views over Petworth Park and House
