Abingdon, Oxfordshire Map

Pleasant walk on a grey miserable day - birdsong all the way round until even the birds were silenced by the drizzle. Only one stile. Good directions.

It's a walk, it's 4 miles. Nothing very remarkable or interesting to see apart from the pub at the end which is excellent.

Worth noting that most of section 1 of this walk is very very overgrown, sturdy footwear and long trousers needed. The path through the corn field in section 2 doesn't exist, requiring a long track through whatever tractor tracks you can find.

Abingdon is a lovely town full of history and of course the lovely River Thames. This walk has a good blend of town and countryside for everyone to enjoy.
