Best Bird Watching Trails in Northamptonshire, England

this would be a great trail on a dryer day as there are a lot of incredibly muddy patches where I nearly lost my footing even in decent hiking boots.

while the building work is going on in Upton country park its probably best to avoid this trail. it was incredibly muddy and hard to keep track of the trail at times, which is why I ended up walking over 1.5 extra kilometres.

I'm not sure that we actually took the right trail. we visited Harlestone Firs woodland but did first try looking for the route as marked out by this app. I'm not sure where I went wrong but I enjoyed the walk around the woodland nonetheless. This is my first time using the app but I'll definitely use it again.

First walk using the app seemed to go great. Went off track a few times but the app guided us back!

Very muddy if it rains.

Me and my lad are in training for the Yorkshire 3 peaks so we thought we’d have a go at this walk. My lad found it ok but I struggled at places , need more training. But all in all it’s a very nice walk, nice views recommend doing it. Might do it again

It’s a nice trail, but very poorly marked out in areas. Be prepared to get a little bit lost at times!

a lovely walk with the dog even if I did go a bit wrong!

easy pleasant walk, great pub at the end to relax in.
