Pretty miserable day for it but still a cracking walk. 100% recommend.

A nice easy trail, parking was a little tricky but there's some lay-bys which I used. High percentage of road walking.

Great challenge trail ,it’s hard but love it ,if any one want to challenge them self go for it but be prepare with all kind of weather don’t expect going to be sunny all the way ,take plenty food and drinks. Will do it again hopefully.

Really nice walk on a well signed route. We parked at the Goathland visitor car park and followed the route anti clockwise which meant we finished in the village and had a breakfast at the tea rooms which had reopened after lockdown. The walk takes you through meadows, along tracks, by a river and eventually to the waterfall

absolutely amazing day breathtaking views and a good active day . we got soaked through with rain half way round but made it even more worth jumping under the waterfalls at the end of the trail take towels and a spare set of clothes and enjoy

I am moderately new too hiking/walking done maybe half of dozen walk before I took on this and I found it very challenging, we took the old tracks route which is practically a walkway to heaven. The incline from the ground level looks like it stops at the clouds. loved the challenge but not for beginners or the faint hearted.

Fairly easy long walk. Completed opposite way round. Good after heavy rain for the waterfalls

Really easy route to navigate even though there are no waypoint directions on the app. We ended up parking in the train station carpark which was just as easy (also out of order so free which is always a bonus). The route is a perfect mix of ups and downs in woodland with rivers and also on top of the moors. The route to and from the Mallyan Spout is quite rocky & so if you are unsure under foot then do take care. We also stopped for an ice cream in Gothland which was a nice mid way point break.

Great walk for family with some stunning views

Lovely scenic route where you can see bits of the Castle Howard estate. Not too hilly & great for letting the dog off the lead

Lovely walk. Amazing views and quite varied in terrain. A big chunk of the paths were in fields with sheep, so not amazing for the dog. There is a decent stint after the village where the dog could safely be off so he was happy! Not too muddy despite the recent rain. We’d definitely do this one again!

Enjoyed it, not great for offlead with the dog - very close to the cliffs, but there’s plenty of space for them to charge around beforehand on the cinder track. Beautiful views! The steps to the ravines may get a little slippy at times. Some of the tracks were a little over grown.

lovely walk with a lot to see, added bonus of a food van half way that did a lovely bacon sandwich!
