Excellent hike. Fairly difficult climb to the peak, as you will gain lots of elevation in a short distance. This was the most challenging part. There is a small scramble on the final part to the summit, and I can imagine it being a lot more challenging in adverse weather conditions. After you've reached the peak, it's a long winding path, with beautiful views all the way back to the start. I would recommend taking the short diversion to check out Hull Pot. Will add about 15 mins to your walk in total, but definitely worth it!

fantastic route but a bit tricky with 3 dogs over the scramble near the summit. The kids loved it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Took the 3 & 4 year old. Not too difficult for them. Some slippery rocks and faster flowing water in stepping stones. But overall nice and pleasant for them.

Well marked path with a tough climb up to summit if doing it anti clockwise. Part o the Yorkshire 3 peaks

Great route. Varied terrain - lots of rocky sections which were diffficult for fast descents!
I had a great day for it - sunshine all day in February - strong winds though. Got the beginning of the sunset on ingleborough and managed to make it back to my car before it got dark

Only stumbling block for beginners would be the Gordale waterfall. A couple of routes you can take depending on how comfortable you are climbing etc. Everything else is comfortable for beginners and advanced hikers. Nice and pleasant hike. Can get somewhat busy on the trail so slightly went off trail.

I would recommend this trail to people who don't mind rocky under foot. Also sadly we found a lot of rubbish littering the trail, shame

This route is the ultimate challenge! completed it twice each completely different as you can experience all four seasons on the Moors.

A Lovely walk. There's a variety of flora and fauna to see. The walk to the river was my favourite part.

Really good walk, did this with snow on the ground. Excellent views

Wow. 40 miles in 17 hours. An experience like nothing ever!

This is a walk of varying levels of difficulty which an individual can select. Stunning rock formations & a a great water fall crevice. If you descend or ascend the waterfall this does require a little physical skill, but worth it.

Lovely walk with a really well looked after trail, I had no need for a map as it is well sign posted. With the very high winds and rain today it wasn’t the easiest climbs to the top but they are only short.

Suitable for novices like myself

id recommend going around this loop anticlockwise for more of a scramble up and gradual decline down; as I found it difficult to climb down when going clockwise as it can get very steep with some slippery rocks.

Beautiful scenery. Amazing rock faces. Waterfalls are pretty at this time of the year.

This hike was truly incredible. However, it’s difficult to find and keep the trail at parts. So be careful of getting off course.

loved every second of it from start to finish truly is hard but what a day out will defo be back again

Lovely easy walk with amazing views. Brought back memories of DofE as we camped at the Gordale Scar campsite.
