This is a lovely walk, it’s a stunning area when you reach the beach you can see Wales and the Point of Ayr Lighthouse.

Nice easy walk, very good paths - mostly roads and gravelled trails, so really good for days when the. weather isn't so good and you don't fancy being stuck up on the moorland in the middle of a cloud and horizontal rain. I was lucky that it was pretty quiet when I went because it had just rained. I can imagine it normally is extremely busy. ALSO - the elevation gain listed here is wrong, it's actually about 300m. There aren't any really big hills. There are some really love lovely views, despite not being high up!

Lovely easy walk, ideal for an evening walk!

not suitable for hiking - many paths for bikes only

Really great route for cycling, beautiful scenery. Path is a bit rough in places so not ideal for a road bike.

It’s a decent trails, rather easy and mostly gravel paths, all in all a good little hike

Walked slightly different route - from Standing stone car park and back through Macclesfield forest. Great views along the way, worth to take off road routes to avoid crowds on the stairs.

Great trail for moutainbiking and not to difficult but, has some great little runs that get the heart beating a bit.

Great route and gets your horse fit with the hills going up and down! Very nice view a few canter points and overall a nice relaxing walk. Only downside is that parking is very limited and had barely enough space to park the trailer and to load & unload, although I have a good loader and he went in from an angle thankfully.

Made a bit shorter way. Mostly easy or moderately hard hike. Avoid the main roads if you want to avoid the cyclist. Lots of rubbish and dunks around Epping Forest Visitor Centre. Good trail apart of it.

Awesome trail from start to finish. Beautiful views over Lewes, Eastbourne and Newhaven. Easy to navigate with the fully way-marked path. Lots of different sections with fields, countryside and wildlife to entertain all along. Well worth saving for a proper sunny day!

The first leg is quite flat, good for biking as well as a relatively easy walk. The last 1/3 is a bit more difficult to navigate and wild. Would recommend if looking for a pretty easy, long hike.

One of our favorites!

Pretty decent ride. Took around 3 hours at very slow pace with some very unfit cycling mate. A good portion of the trail is done under tree cover and the shade was very welcome. One thing to note was an entire section of bridle road being closed by a local farmer (due to covid?) forcing a substantial detour.

A very nice long loop trail, primarily along tarmac, with alternative trails signposted along the way and great views over Derwent Water. BE AWARE, THIS IS AN EXTREMELY BUSY TRAIL, VERY HIGH TRAFFIC.

The bit that is located adjacent to the A24 is very overgrown, we ended up turning back. The other way to the top of the hill was much better. I wouldn't call this easy, it's definitely moderate as there is a considerable amount of elevation gain and is hard work for those less able such as younger children.

A very nice trail for a walk in the woods. Shady enough to still be able to enjoy it in the hot weather. Dog friendly. If you know where to look you may find the door to Winnie the Pooh's house.

lovely walk with kids, picturesque area-you can clearly see needles -isle of Wight

Good circular ride

Really nice walk, some more difficult parts but mainly all on a nice gravel path.

Absolutely beautiful walk with lots of point of interest ( lots of railway markers, bridges and even a couple of half remaining platforms and stations ). This walk would have been perfect if it was not for the amount of rude cyclists! Despite signs asking cyclists to give way to pedestrians, dismount and just no cycling allowed, cyclists were frequent, speedy, annoying, rude and seemed to a sense of entitlement. Do not cycle down this trail, Walk!

very good route

Beautiful hike along the ridge line. First 1-2 miles somewhat of a scramble straight up to the ridge. Hike along the ridge fairly easy with beautiful views. Many pools of standing water at the top to refill containers if you bring filtration. Not something I would do with the little kids unless they are very experienced hikers. No camping spots but plenty of open grass on the ridge to pitch a tent if needed.

very nice ride bit hard on your arms easy to miss a few turns when going too fast !!

Had a go at this today and got lost many times but was a lot of fun. if anyone knows the route well would love to met up for another ride.

The car park was closed but we managed to find parking nearby after a lot of driving around. The walk was nice and easy and lots of shade.
