This is a great walk any time of the year, in any weather. Paved. Can be crouded. Not too many shaded areas. Took me less than 2 hours. I do not recall seeing any markings, but it is quite easy to follow the navigation. I recommend.

It’s a beautiful park to for a walk. You will find a small conservatory and a small cafe.

Excellent way to see the most important landmarks in one afternoon

A very nice walk mostly through woodland with no road walking just crossing quite a busy road twice. The trail was very muddy 90% of the way round but the kids loved it. The moated manor was worth a look but is in very poor condition. The fields and farm give the walk a rural feel which is nice considering your only 20mins from London. Enjoyed by the whole family.

Really nice walk - walking on made up paths so not too muddy. Lots to see - deer, kestrels, water birds, water gardens etc. Thoroughly recommend this walk. Plan to return in the summer. The Mute Swan very welcoming and dog friendly.

Easy trail to walk and follow. Moderate might be a stretch but it’s great for a nice stroll away from the city. Made ours short as it’s pretty boring and there were a lot of people

Very enjoyable wali. Bit rainy but not too bad. GPS blind spots and the app crashed do didn't track all the way. Very good one to start getting into shape and into hiking

Easy walk taking 2h 45 mins including a short break Brent Park for coffee. Very muddy in places so boots recommended in wet weather and the parks and open spaces will be better appreciated in summer. Highlight was the Wharncliffe viaduct. The final stretch to north of Western Ave to Greenford station was very urban.

Loved this trail. 1st & 3rd mile were a bit muddy as across fields, but 2nd, 3rd & 5th we’re on paved streets. Not to challenging, some narrow pathways towards the end, keep an eye on your kids & pets, but otherwise a pleasant walk. The pubs great at the end for a treat!

Enjoyed this little trail with my dog. Unfortunately, it’s rather short so maybe next time will do slightly larger loop. Some areas were muddy. However, it’s expected at this time of year. Good pair of wellies and you’re good to go.

If you have a bit more energy, you should add pergola and hill gardens to this route.

I would recommend this walk, however there is a long stretch along the main road towards the end with narrow pavements which is not ideal for dogs or children. The pub is excellent!

One of the better walks around London. This park is lively and you can see swans in the lake. You can combine this walk with Buckingham Palace.

Mud, mud and more mud but it is early February. Nice view at the car park but the valley is a little boring.

Nice walk, particularly if you leave the trail now and then to venture out a bit deeper into the forest.

great route with lovely views, and many pubs on the way if you want to stop off too!

nice little walk around

great walk. I wouldn't get your hopes up about the moated manor, it's seen better days

Not terribly pleasant. The 2k stretch along the canal was enjoyable as was syon park, but this doesn't make up for the slogs through busy/residential roads once you hit Southall.

A nice circuit of the Heath with Kenwood handily placed halfway for coffee and also two cafes near the end. Very muddy on some paths (Jan 2020) - a pity as there’s nearly always an alternative hard-surface path that could be taken. Busy with dog-walkers & runners particularly at weekends.

Wonderful view!

Decent trail. Nice and wide for most of the trail and has plentiful information boards. Has lots of entry/exit points and is friendly for people walking, dog walkers, people riding bikes as well as families. Trail gets a little muddy in some areas, so wear suitable foot wear.

Highly recommend- dog friendly and quite flat!

as explained by previous reviewers Holmwood house has put in a second electric gate at the road end, we walked the route clockwise so when you reach the second electric gate to the house where the footpath croses the house drive carry on down the footpath to the road toHolmwood farm({farm shop) then walk back up the road to Holmwood house drive entrance to rejoin the walk, this makes the walk approx 4 miles now.
